Allen was just grabbed back by a hospital nurse's phone call right after he finished his meal.
Ranita took Allen back to the hospital and then hailed a taxi to return to the hotel. On the way, she browsed through some gossip news and stumbled upon information about Shannon at the bottom of an entry, which seemed to have been overshadowed by other hot topics.
There was a police-certified account that had posted a statement explaining the situation.
Shannon was almost kidnapped by a private male fan!
Fortunately, her friend surnamed Stuart appeared just in time and not only rescued her but also took the suspect to the police station.
There were some blurry photos of Shannon and Brendon's backs, which were probably taken secretly at the airport.
Shannon was sticking to Brendon's side like she had no bones, almost asking him to carry her like a princess.
"Ding dong!" A message notification sounded on the phone, a friend request.
The note said Shannon.
Ranita almost felt disgusted enough to throw her phone. Why would Shannon add her? Even with her eyes closed, she could tell it was probably to annoy her.
Ranita did not accept the request.
The next second, the phone rang with a "ding dong" sound again.
It was Brendon.
Ranita couldn't resist and quickly clicked open.
In an instant, her heart felt like it had fallen under a glacier that had been frozen for thousands of years, turning into a block of ice and then shattering into powder with a snap.
"Ranita, this is Shannon. Can you add me as a friend?"
"I'm afraid you don't know, so I borrowed Brendon's phone to send you a message. Please don't be angry, I didn't mean anything else."
Ranita still hadn't replied.
Shannon kept talking to herself as she messaged her.
"Ranita, why aren't you speaking?"
"I'm sorry! There was a little accident yesterday, and I really didn't dare to sleep alone. So I asked Brendon to stay in the room with me."
