Chapter 58 Brighter Than the Sunlight

Mia had signed a contract with Sugar Media, and it was still under the studio's name. If she were to leave now, she would be handing over leverage to Shannon.

She didn't want any trouble.

"Mr. Stuart, we agreed that I would send it over by today. It's only noon," Ranita paused and glanced at Holly before continuing with a smirk on her lips, "I won't delay too long at Sugar Media."

Without waiting for Brendon to respond, Ranita hung up the phone.

"Holly, if you lay a hand on me, I'll fight back. But if you delay Brendon's work, he won't go easy on you!"

Holly was so angry that her eyes turned red as she pointed her trembling finger at Ranita and said through gritted teeth, "How dare you use my brother against me?"

Ranita looked calmly at Holly and tilted her head slightly as she spoke, "Do you dare not listen?"

Holly was most afraid of Brendon.

"You... you..." Holly couldn't even speak properly from anger. She wanted to take action but also feared the consequences of delaying Brendon's work.

"If your hands are shaking and your speech is unclear then I suggest going to the hospital!" Ranita couldn't be bothered with Holly anymore.

As Ranita stormed out of the room, she could hear stomping feet and low hysterical muttering from inside - probably cursing her!

But Ranita acted like she didn't hear anything as she quickly returned to her own post.

"Miss Bowman! You finally came back!" Arthur greeted her warmly when he saw her. "I don't know how to talk without you here!"
