"Ranita... I apologize... sincerely apologize... I..." Carl was completely caught off guard by Ranita's words.

Initially, Carl was hesitant, but Mia convinced him. Besides, he needed a significant amount of money to address some family matters. However, now he realized that he had gained a substantial sum of money but lost his most important partner!

"No need to discuss further, that's it!" Ranita hung up the phone and noticed the dark clouds outside. It seemed like rain was imminent.

"Ranita, it might rain later! You've been busy all day today. Why don't you go home early and rest?" Olivia paused and asked again, "Your ankle still hasn't fully healed yet. Let me take you home."

Ranita was indeed exhausted today.

Just as she finished packing her things, Caleb called her, informing her that she needed to return to Stuart's Corp because there was a video conference with Nemotube Company that she had to attend.

Olivia listened briefly and disagreed, "Ranita, do you really have to go back to Stuart's Corp now? Can't you take a leave?"

Ranita casually put the lemon candy in her bag while texting Steve, "Can I call you?"
