Although Kylie had a manuscript in her hand, she hadn't looked at it once. The speech she wrote was largely academic, but she didn't forget to sprinkle some fun into it.

She took the audience through the more digestible parts before wading into the more technical and convoluted parts. Some folks might not understand traditional treatment, but even they could understand more than half of what she was saying.

Kylie delivered her speech without using her manuscript. The fluidity of her presentation amazed absolutely everyone in the auditorium.

"That concludes my topic."

At the next moment, thundering applause reverberated throughout the research presentation hall. Kylie grinned charmingly and subtly turned her gaze to Samuel in the first row of seats.

Leaning on the chair, Samuel looked cold as he scrutinized her with his icy, profound eyes. They met each other's gaze wordlessly. Kylie even lifted her chin tauntingly as if she was telling him that she was a match for him.

Aside from the applause, the audience also complimented her: "There is more to the young lady than meets the eye. I'm sure she has a bright future ahead of her."

"Younger generations intimidate me sometimes."

"She could've secured a good life with her looks alone, but she took the harder option and forged her path with her talents instead."

Kylie didn't put makeup on her face. Her delicate features and movements carried poise and confidence. Countless people were looking at her, and cameras were pointed at her.

Not only was she not nervous, but it actually looked like she enjoyed it. She looked nothing like someone who came from the countryside. Instead, she resembled a noble lady more, which was impressive in and of itself.

The research presentation drew to an end, and it was time for the lunch banquet.

Kylie found her seat and sat on her chair. She just so happened to catch Samuel out of the corner of her eyes. It seemed like he was delegating some tasks to Logan. In all likelihood, he was probably asking the latter to pick Iris up so they could get lunch together.

Kylie didn't let it bother her. She got a glass of water from the waitress and took a sip. That was when Sebastian pulled up a chair and sat next to her, his eyes sparkling.

"Miracle doctor, how long have you been studying traditional treatment? Who did you learn it from?"
