Really? Kylie chuckled. She wasn't sure that she believed what Linda said.

At the next moment, someone knocked on her door hastily. Only Samuel would dare to knock on doors this way in Hythe Villa.

"Open up!" His deep voice pierced through the door and echoed.

Linda took the empty bowl away from Kylie and opened the door at once. "Hi, Mr. Vance."

Samuel glanced at the bowl in her hand. He was aware that Kylie had period pain, but he feigned ignorance and said to Sebastian, "Check on her. She has a stomach ache.

"People are going to think that she got sick from overworking herself while treating Grandpa if they didn't know any better."

Linda was speechless. Taking the empty bowl with her, she left the guest room, closing the door as she walked out.

Kylie, Samuel, and Sebastian were the only people left in the room. She was fuming and flew into a rage, "Will it kill you to stop ridiculing me for a goddamn second?"

Samuel turned his gaze away nonchalantly and responded sarcastically, "I won't, but taking a dig at you is way too fun to stop."

Surely, he had got a screw loose. Kylie got so mad that she gnashed her teeth. Why had she never noticed just how wicked he was?

She knew that he was physically incapable of saying anything nice. So, she didn't have the strength to argue with him. The pain was absolutely killing her.

Sebastian looked at Samuel, barely stifling his laughter. The latter would never have done something like this in the past.

Samuel was so dense and inexperienced that he turned his expression of concern into something this awkward. It was supposed to be a fun, harmless jab between a couple, but he turned it into a full-blown mockery.

Sebastian was aware that Kylie had low blood sugar, but he knew nothing about her stomach issue. The two weren't directly linked, though. Maintaining a regular diet and daily life routine would actually improve both conditions.

He said playfully, "Just express your concern like any normal person would. Why do you have to make the whole thing this awkward?
