The Fortune-Telling Heiress novel Chapter 130

Chapter 130

Lucian curled up into a ball and raised his hands in surrender

Wanda, noMs. Watson! I’m sorry! I messed up! just let me go!”

Wanda scoffed at him. Now, you’re sorry? You didn’t think about that when you were scaring me in the middle of the night, did you? Or when you tried to drag me away? You’re truly unrepentant!”

With that, Wanda swung the baseball bat down once more

Since he was a ghost, no blood spilled, so it wasn’t a gruesome scene

After letting out her frustration, Wanda rested a hand on the bat and tapped her foot against the floor. So, are you going to come back again?”

Never again, I swear!”

Lucian wanted nothing more than to sink into the ground and beg Wanda for mercy

How had he never seen this side of her? She was nothing like the gentle woman he remembered

Wanda looked down at him with disdain. She opened the bathroom door and sneered, Get lost! If I see you again, I’ll make you disappear for good!”

Lucian lay there, staring at her in terror

He wondered if the ruthless woman in front of him was the Wanda he once knew

As Wanda lifted her foot to kick him, Lucian shot off like a bolt of lightning, disappearing without a trace

Trash!Wanda scolded. With a satisfied grin, she turned back to the bathroom, grabbed the baseball bat, and carried it to her bedroom before settling in for the night

Five days later, Wanda arrived at Madison’s house, dragging her suitcases behind her

She knocked on the door, which creaked open slowly, but no one was there to greet her

Wanda glanced around anxiously as a chill crept up her spine

She pushed her suitcases inside and walked past a beautifully painted wall. There, she spotted Madison sitting crosslegged under the eaves, deep in meditation

Ms. Locke, I’m here!”

Wanda stood there, feeling a mix of fear and admiration as she watched Madison

Madison continued to sit crosslegged, and her expression remained unchanged

Wanda blinked and began to explain, I said I’d report to you as soon as possible, but LucianAfter I beat him once, he didn’t give up- and came back the very next night. It wasn’t until I beat him up again the night before last that he finally swore he wouldn’t bother me anymore.”

She had thought that after getting hit once, Lucian would stay away. Yet, he remained the scoundrel he was and continued pestering her even in death. He had come back to harass her several nights in a row

Thankfully, she had the talisman from Madison. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have known how to deal with that relentless man

Ms. Locke, I’m really sorry for not arriving on time. I-”

Madison doesn’t like to be disturbed during her morning meditation.A voice suddenly sounded beside her

Wanda instinctively replied, Oh, really? Then, I won’t bother you, Ms. Locke! I’ll just put my suitcases away.”

Madison had already arranged a guest room for her. As Wanda carried her suitcases along, she suddenly stopped and looked around. There was no one around, and it was eerily quiet

There’s no need to look around. You won’t see us right now. Once Madison wakes up, she can help you with that!”

Wanda was taken aback. The voice seemed to be right next to her, but when she looked in the direction, she saw nothing. After dealing with Lucian these past few days, she had built up her resilience
