With a quick clatter, Wanda closed the door behind her and anxiously leaned against it. 

Mia exclaimed, “See? I told you we scared her!” 

Yara giggled mischievously, feeling pleased with their prank. “That was fun! She’s pretty bold.” 

After tidying up her room upstairs, Wanda finally made her way down. Madison had finished her morning meditation by then. 

“Ms. Locke, here’s some water,” Wanda said, handing her a glass. “Is there anything you need me to do?” 

Madison took a sip of the water and asked, “Would you like to open your third eye? There are others living in Haven House.”

Wanda glanced around nervously and swallowed hard. “As your assistant and the manager of Haven House, I think I should open my third eye.” 

“Alright,” Madison replied. She extended her fingers and lightly brushed them over Wanda’s eyelids. “All done.” 

Wanda’s heart raced as she slowly opened her eyes. At first, everything seemed unchanged. But then she glanced down and noticed a cute little girl in a bright yellow outfit standing beside Madison, leaving her momentarily stunned. 

Next, she spotted a beautiful woman in a gown. Her puzze 

eyes widened. 

Finally, her gaze landed on a handsome man by the window. Sunlight streamed through his ghostly figure. 

Wanda’s gaze flicked between the three of them. She had expected to encounter terrifying ghosts but was pleasantly surprised to find these charming housemates instead. 

How could she possibly say no to living with such delightful company? 

“Are they…” she stammered. 

“Mia Salle, Yara Chapman, and Sebastian Hall,” Madison introduced them one by one. 

Wanda beamed. “Can I touch them?” 

“Of course!” 

Wanda’s eyes lit up as she reached out to touch Mia’s hair. It felt cool, different from that of a living child. 

“Hi there! I’m Wanda. If you need anything, just let me know!” 

Then, she turned to Yara. “Ms. Chapman, hello!” 

Yara didn’t extend her hand. Instead, she bowed gracely in an old–fashioned way 

“Hello.” 

Wanda was completely taken aback. Yara was truly the epitome of beauty. 

Her poise and grace embodied everything one would expect from a refined lady. After finishing her performance, Yara raised her eyebrows at Mia. Wanda didn’t catch the smug smile on Yara’s face. Her attention was already
