When Madison and the others returned to the break room, Helena was sitting on a couch with her hands tightly clasped together. She appeared nervous, fidgeting with her darknails. As soon as she saw them enter, she quickly stood up but hesitated just as she was about to speak 

Cynthia rushed over and gently patted her shoulder. “It’s nothing serious. We were just discussing with Ms. Locke how to help you regain your former appearance. You know how particular Shane can be about filmmaking.” 

Helena replied in a rough voice, “Filming is all about perfection, so he’s not really being too particular.” 

Cynthia lightly tapped her arm. “I’m just trying to speakup for you 

Helena immediately began to cheer Cynthia up, who let out a soft hum in response. Helena spun around Cynthia, while Shane and Marco exchanged relieved glances.

Rebecca approached with a warm smile. “Maddie, what brings you here? Are you auditioning too? I noticed your livestream has quite a following now. You should be able to get a role in the production.” 

She scanned the area and noticed Shane’s crew. Her expression darkened slightly. “Isn’t this Mr. Yeatman’s set? He has high standards, and he usually won’t accept anyone without acting experience.” 

After a pause, she asked, “Did you pass the audition? 

Madison shook her head. “No.” 

Rebecca felt relieved, and her smile grew wider. “You have a lot of fans, but they aren’t likely to support you financially. To move from being a streamer to an actor, you usually need at least a million followers. I’ve looked at your numbers, and you have about a hundred thousand.” 

She covered her mouth and smiled, “Maddie, you don’t understand the entertainment industry. With this number of fans, you wouldn’t even make a dent here.” Madison remained silent.
