As suspected, the green smoke floated into the villa area, and the bodyguards stopped Shane’s car from entering 

Shane got out to try to talk to the bodyguards, but they were very adamant. They even sternly demanded that everyone leave. 

“The area up ahead is a private area. We’ll call the police if you refuse to leave,” a bodyguard warned them stemnly. 

Two bodyguards were pushing Shane back as well. 

Madison stepped forward and turned her attention to one of the bodyguards. She said, “We’re here to talk to the owner of Villa No. 72. It belongs to Mr. Sebastian 

Hall.” 

The bodyguard was stunned. He paused for a moment and said, “Please wait for a moment.” 

He returned to the booth and made a call. He smiled brightly as he left the booth, saying, “You’re Ms. Locke, aren’t you? We’ve contacted Mr. Hall, and he has given us permission. You and your friends may enter.” 

The bodyguard waved his hand after that and ordered, “Let them go.” 

Another bodyguard waited until everyone had gotten into the car and had entered the neighborhood. After that, he approached the bodyguard who let them enter and said, “Sir, Mr. Turner specifically told us—” 

“You know nothing! Do you realize who the owner of Villa No. 72 is? It belongs to the son of the Hall family, Mr. Sebastian Hall!” scolded the leader while glaring at the guy. “We have to let them in so long as he demands it.” 

The other bodyguards nodded solemnly. 

“The Hall family… Are they the ones who have been on the news lately?” 

“Of course!” 

Inside the car, Shane frowned as he stared at Madison’s stoic expression. He recalled the day he dropped Madison off at the hotel. At the time, Sebastian’s expression had seemed off. 

“I know that this isn’t the right time, but surely, you haven’t forgotten why the rich buy villas in this area, right?” 

Sebastian was a young, successful man. However, the fact that he had a mistress meant that Sebastian wasn’t worthy of Madison. That was what Shane thought. “I do. The residents here are blessed with fortune.” 

Shane was speechless for a moment. However, he later clarified, “That’s not what I meant. Most people buy villas here for their mistresses. Given the influence the Hall family has in the city and Mr. Hall’s social status, it’s only natural that he owns a place here.” 

There was a rumor about how Sebastian wasn’t lustful. However, Shane didn’t believe that there was a man on Earth who wasn’t lustful. 

He thought it was possible that Sebastian simply kept up appearances in front of the camera. He believed that Sebastian could be a womanizer in private. There were plenty of men like that in the entertainment industry. 

Madison didn’t respond to that. Yara, who was in the backseat, couldn’t hold her temper in, though. 

She immediately floated to Madison’s side and demanded, “Why are villas built in this area? Is it so that the rich can hide their mistresses? Does Sebastian Hall have a secret lover? No way! The way he behaves makes it seem as though he’s determined to die a virgin. How can he possibly have a lover?” 

Despite her words, Yara’s expression had become off. 

“Could it be that he’s a really good actor?” murmured Yara. “Still, it makes sense. Given how handsome and rich he is, there’s no way he doesn’t have women crowding around him. Wait, no! There’s no way a man like Sebastian would be into a regular woman. The person he’s into…”
