The Fortune-Telling Heiress novel Chapter 360

Chapter 360

Downstairs, Madison was already seated at the table and quietly eating her breakfast. Sebastian casually sat across from her, gesturing for Wanda to bring him a plate as well

When Wanda served his breakfast, she glanced at Raymond, who stood motionless like a statue nearby. She tentatively asked, Do you want some breakfast?”

Raymond didn’t respond, but his eyes were fixed intently on Madison’s plate

Get him some breakfast,Madison instructed

Sebastian, eating leisurely, commented, If he won’t speak up, you can help him now. But in the future, you can’t always step in just because he stays quiet.Madison considered this and agreed. She turned to Raymond, You’ll need to express yourself. You need to tell people what you want and don’t want.Raymond obediently sat down and nodded

The moment he lowered his head, though, his eyes turned cold as he glanced at Sebastian. Sebastian, as if expecting the look, raised his brow at Raymond. Raymond remained silent

After breakfast, Madison and Sebastian went to the study to discuss something, leaving Wanda to guide Raymond to his room

This is the bathroom. Here’s the hot water, and here’s the cold water,Wanda explained as she gave him a tour of the room. The closet doesn’t have any clothes for you yet. I’ll check with Ms. Locke later and see about getting some clothes for you

If you’re uncomfortable in this room, just let me know,Wanda said, glancing at him with a hint of concern

After introducing Raymond around the room, Wanda looked at him. Any questions?”

Raymond shook his head

Wanda nodded and left, closing the door behind her

On her way out, she spotted Yara crouched by the door of the study, eavesdropping. Rolling her eyes, she walked over and pulled Yara away. Can you even hear anything?”

Yara replied, Nope. But I’m curious!”

Wanda dragged Yara downstairs, preventing her from snooping any further

Inside the study, Madison stared at the sentimentsealing glass vial in Sebastian’s hand. The vial emitted a radiant glow. It had been charged with his emotions. You want to break the seal on the sentimentsealing vial?Madison asked

Sebastian nodded. You’ve passed your tribulation, and your spiritual energy should have recovered by now.”

Madison nodded. It has. But before, you didn’t want to unseal the vial. Why now?”

She wasn’t attached to the spiritual energy inside the vial; she was simply curious

Sebastian had been adamant about not unsealing it before, but now, he was offering to do so willingly. The shift in his stance was sudden

Sebastian, with his gaze lowered, stared at the glowing vial. As you said, my emotions are mine to handle. I once used them to try and save you. Now, I’d like to take them back.”

Madison didn’t push further. She accepted the vial from Sebastian and inspected the runes etched across its surface. Most of the symbols were familiar, but the final rune was strange. It was unlike anything she had ever seen

When her eyes fell on it, an inexplicable discomfort surged through her. It was a primal unease that only cultivators felt toward malevolent objects. And yet, beyond the runes, there was no trace of malice emanating from the vial

Using the runes as a guide, she deduced the method to unseal it

Madison made a series of hand seals and softly chanted the incantation. The tiny bell attached to the vial began to chime softly, its delicate sound filling the study. The bell fell silent after a flash of red light

The onceglowing vial dimmed, and the light inside dissolved into thin threads that flew directly toward Sebastian’s forehead, entering his mind as though drawn to him

Madison observed the nowdark vial and then turned to Sebastian, who had closed his eyes. She gripped the vial tightly, her knuckles turning white
