The Fortune-Telling Heiress novel Chapter 45

Chapter 45

Tanya didn’t sleep well that night. She felt a deep sense of guilt toward Madison

Madison had been on her own for more than 20 years, worn out to the point of having a stomach illness. As Madison’s mother, how could Tanya not be heartbroken

Tampa woke up early the next morning and instructed the maids to make chicken broth. She let it cook until noon before hurriedly taking it to the hospital

She couldn’t help but imagine how touched Madison would be. She pondered about talking Madison into being more considerate. She wanted her to stop stirring up trouble among the family and stop being jealous of Rebecca

without her upbringing, Madison fell short in every way compared to Rebecca

Tanya stood at the hospital room door with her chin up. As she opened the door, she said, I brought you some broth, Maddie.”

Tanga waited with an air of pride for Madison to show her gratitude, but her expression froze

Inside the room, Josephine gently sat down, and the table was filled with food

You’re here, Tanya. Have you eaten? Maddie is just about to eat.Josephine looked at the lunch box in Tanya’s hand. You have brought some food for Maddie as well. Come on

Josephine got up to take the lunch box and said with a smile, Maddie has a stomach issue, and it has worsened into acute gastroenteritis. The doctor instructed us to be extra careful with what she eats.”

Tanya awkwardly sat on a chair. Did you prepare all this?”

Josephine nodded. Seeing the chicken broth in the lunch box, her smile faded slightly n’s chicken broth.”

Josephine then placed the broth next to the vegetable soup she had brought

The chicken broth had a layer of oil on top and bits of onions floating in it. Meanwhile, the vegetable soup was crystal clear with no pill at all

Tanya felt out of place with Josephine taking charge. Even though Tanya was Madison’s biological mother, it felt like she was being treated as a guest

Try the chicken broth I made for you, Maddie. I made it just for you early in the morning, and simmered it on low heat. I rushed over to bring it to you as soon as it was ready.”

Tanga wanted to show her love as a mother. She got up and served Madison a bowl of chicken broth with two pieces of chicken in it

Madison bad to be moved by this.

Although Tanya didn’t put in as much effort as josephine, the sentiment behind it was something Josephine couldn’t match

Tampa eagerly waited to receive Madison’s gratitude, but Madison merely glanced at the chicken broth and burned away, instead, she drank the vegetable soup

Things got quit and awkward

  • Tanya’s face immediately fell. Feeling agitated, she sported a cold expression

Josephine locked at Tanya and Mason

Both were the quiet type. What a headache

When Madison took her last bite, the chicken broth Tanya brought over was still untouched

Tanya took the lunch box and left without saying a word

Madison was so hopeless. Seriously, she shouldn’t act like that when someone oldereven if it wasn’t her own motherbrought her food

Sure. Tanya did lock Madison up yesterday, but that was because Madison spewed nonsense

Not bringing Madison food was definitely Tanya’s mistake. But she came by today with chicken broth to make up for it, didn’t

t she? she had never seen a daughter showing their mother that kind of attitude

Madison was nothing like the thoughtful Rebecca, Just thinking about how Rebecca would happily praise the chicken broth she cooked made Tanya feel a little better. At the end of the day, Rebecca was always the best

Walt up, Tanya.Josephine quickly caught up to Tanya. Why are you in such a hurry? You didn’t even say goodbye to Maddie.”

What’s the point? Didn’t you see the look on Madison’s face? I’m her mother, nother enemy. After all the effcet I put into bringing her food, she looks at me as if I’d poison her.”

When Tanya finished speaking, josephine couldn’t help but matter, Well, you never know”
