The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 126

However, when Meredith thought of what Chloe had said, she could not help but wonder whether Derek had really wanted to keep her like this, or just to provoke another woman.

This thought haunted Meredith, and even if Derek gave her a promise, she could not believe it easily.

Unlike these people, she couldn't afford to lose.

"You don't have to explain these things to me. I didn't have the right to mess up with it, right?"

Meredith became ruthless and pretended not to care.

Derek's eyes darkened. It was rare for him to explain or promise something to someone.

Meredith's reaction, however, was so indifferent.

Did this woman really not care about him at all?

Seeing Derek's gloomy face, Meredith swallowed her saliva, feeling the air was filled with suffocating silence.

This silence made Meredith feel like she was about to be forced to be crazy. She would rather have Derek say something and get angry than be so quiet.

"The child in your belly is his?" Derek could only think of this answer.

His eyes remained coldly in the position of Meredith's abdomen, and the sight was so cold that Meredith almost shivered.

She subconsciously protected her belly, feeling both aggrieved and angry.

This was his child, but Derek always called it "wild seed". He even arranged it so many fathers that didn't exist at all.

Perhaps, in his eyes, she was a woman who could flirt with any man, so he could guess without any scruples and never care about her feelings, right?

"It is none of your business."

Meredith put her hand on the car door and pulled it twice, but it was locked and couldn't be pulled open. She looked back at Derek and said, "Please let me leave here."

"Leave? Let you continue to hook up with your ex-brother-in-law? Are you so shameless, so thirsty, so desiring?"

Derek glanced at Meredith coldly, his words getting out of control.

Meredith's face turned pale. Even though Derek had humiliated her more than once, she still couldn't bear such a straightforward and insulting speech.

She actually thought what he had just said was a promise to herself.

Maybe he just didn't want to lose a fun pet. Meredith believed that he wouldn't say such things to Chloe or force Chloe on the street.

Playing was different from liking.

"No matter how cheap I am, it's my own business. Since Mr. Xavier already has a loved one, treat her well instead of messing up with me who you despise."

As she spoke, Meredith tried to break the handle of the car door, obviously not wanting to stay with Derek awkwardly anymore.

Derek's fist slammed into the steering wheel, and the horn sounded long and ominous, piercing to the extreme.

Meredith trembled with fear. Derek opened the door. "If you get out of the car today, don't let me see you again!"

Derek's tone was irrefutable.

Although he confirmed that he had Meredith in his heart, it didn't mean that he could stand this woman be shrewish and make the scene in front of him over and over again.

If she really opened the door and left, he would never spoil her.

Meredith's hand paused. Through the reflection of the car window, she could see Derek's handsome face, covered with dark expressions.
