Easton pretended not to understand and tilted his head. "No way. You're about the same age as my mother, but my mother looked much younger than you!"
Evelyn froze after hearing that.
Evelyn had always felt that she was young, so she replied coldly.
"He he, but I have never had a child."
"Oh, really? If I call you sister, then what do you call my mother? Didn't my father become your uncle?"
Easton smiled and said something that rendered Evelyn speechless.
When she asked Derek for dinner, she naturally wanted to be with him more. In the end, Easton should say that coldly.
"Then you can call me auntie."
Evelyn stopped talking to Easton.
She would have been furious if she talked much with him.
Easton was overjoyed to see that she was so angry.
Meredith felt a little embarrassed and she didn't even know where to take a seat.
"Easton, don't talk so much. I'll take you upstairs. Don't you want to see the scenery?"
Easton shook his head and looked at Derek.
Coincidentally, the staff brought the children's seat over.
"Just sit here. Stop messing around."
Hearing what he said, Meredith could not say anything.
She was not a troublesome person.
But, in that case, where she was about to sit became a problem.
Evelyn had just been angered by Easton. Meredith did not want to ask for trouble.
And by Derek's side...
She did not want to sit beside him.
"Sit here." Derek pointed directly at the position beside Easton.
Although it was a little crowded, it was still able to sit.
Evelyn saw this and immediately said, "No, let her be my side."
After that, she smiled at Meredith.
Of course, it was because she did not want to see the three of them sat happily together.
Meredith felt helpless. On the one hand, she did not know if Evelyn was Amelia's daughter.
But on the other hand, she realized that Evelyn who was hostile should be interested in Derek, which made her unwilling to approach Evelyn.
"Okay." After thinking about it, Meredith sat next to Evelyn.
Easton pursed his lips, so he lowered his head and began to look at the menu.
"You can order whatever you want to eat."
Meredith focused on Easton.
Easton ordered some delicious snacks and a special hot drink.
Easton was curious about everything here, and he did not want to give Evelyn a chance to interrupt, so he kept talking to Meredith and Derek.
Meredith just kept chatting with Easton all the time. Derek did not say anything, but became much gentler.
He even forgot Evelyn who was sitting beside him.
