The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 559

After thinking about it, Derek decided to rely on Easton.

He called Easton. "Easton, is your mother here now?"

Easton was speechless. He was such a big boy, yet he felt like he did not exist. The first thing his father asked was how his mother was.

"Yes."

Easton looked at Meredith, who was processing some files in front of the computer. "What do you want, dad?"

Derek thought for a moment and asked, "Easton, do you want to move somewhere else?"

Easton's eyes lit up. He had long been fed up with staying in this kind of hotel. Although he lived in the best hotels, the cold, mechanized interior design, coupled with all kinds of formulaic service, made him annoyed.

He knew that Derek was looking for a suitable house. Now that he finally found one, of course Easton was happy.

"Of course I do. Have you found a house?"

"Yes, do you want to see it?"

Derek tried to persuade him. Easton was so smart that he immediately understood what Derek was thinking. "Do you want me to ask mom to go there together?"

Derek couldn't help but laugh. His son knew him so well.

"I'll think of a way, but mom seems weird lately as if she has something on her mind."

Easton said worriedly, "Is grandma not well?"

Derek frowned. "Your grandmother's condition is stable now."

Easton said, "Okay, then I'll find a way to get her to take me out. You can wait for us outside."

Derek naturally agreed, but couldn't help but think about what Easton had just said.

Meredith was in a bad mood now. Because he knew that she was on bad terms with Violet, he didn't dare to disturb her to make her unhappy.

But now, she still didn't seem happy.

Derek was deep in thought. Was it because of the Smiths?

Meredith didn't want to talk to him, and it was hard for Derek to get involved.

Because of Evelyn, this matter had become even more complex.

Easton thought for a while and felt that he couldn't say it so directly.

"Mom, are you busy this afternoon?"

Meredith was in a daze. She seemed to have been reading the reports on the computer. In fact, her mind had long been lost.

The Smiths, Evelyn, mom, Derek. These people's affairs were like threads entangled in her brain, making her very annoyed.

So, when Easton called her, she didn't even hear him.

"Mom?"

Seeing that Meredith was completely distracted, Easton jumped off the bed and touched her arm.

Meredith came to her senses and looked at Easton. She smiled and said, "What's wrong, Easton? Mom didn't hear you just now."

"I, I feel bored in the hotel."

Easton looked pitiful. "It's all black and white and gray. It looks so cold. I'm not feeling well."

Meredith's heart ached when she heard this.

After all, the hotel was not home, and even if it was luxurious, it was far from comfortable.

Easton was still so young, so it was totally normal for him to feel uncomfortable.

"Then, how about I send you back to J City for a few days? Your great-grandfather probably misses you too."
