With that, Meredith turned around.
It broke Easton's heart to see her leave.
He glared at Evelyn who threw herself on Derek. "Evil woman, wait and see!"
After that, he quickly followed Meredith out.
"Mom, mom, wait for me."
Easton managed to catch up with Meredith who was striding forward. It had never happened before.
Normally, Meredith would hold Easton's hand whenever they were, afraid that she would lose him.
But now her mind was in a whirl and she forgot about it.
Hearing Easton's footsteps, she stopped. "Easton, I'm sorry."
Meredith suddenly felt that she was an irresponsible mother.
"Mom, are you angry?" Easton held Meredith's hand and said cautiously.
"Let's go back and teach that bad woman a lesson. She dares to lie in dad's arms... Dad must be drunk so that she took advantage of it!"
Easton clenched his fists in anger, ready to teach Evelyn a lesson as long as Meredith agreed.
"Easton, that's your dad's business. Maybe he'll be with her. Let's go."
Meredith shook her head. Although she knew that Easton stood up for her, she didn't want to go back and see the scene again.
Besides, she had no position to mind their business.
With that, she took Easton's hand and left.
Easton was both anxious and helpless.
He didn't know who to choose. However, if he went back alone, he wouldn't have been able to get rid of Evelyn...
Easton looked sullen, thinking that he might as well hire a few bodyguards for himself and those bad women would be scared away.
Easton had made up his mind to ask Grandpa Xavier for help. He wanted to ask him to get him a few reliable people. It was time to train his confidants.
Meredith took Easton back to the hospital.
Knowing that Meredith was not in a good mood, Easton remained in silence on the way to the hospital. When they got to the hospital, he found a chance to call Damian with the excuse of going to the bathroom.
"Little Young Master, what's wrong?"
Penelope's surgery was done, but she was under anesthesia, and she wasn't awake.
Damian had been watching over her in the hospital.
"My dad was drunk, and then there was a woman hanging around him. You'd better pick him up."
Easton sent the address to Damian.
Although Damian was worried about Penelope, he was Derek's assistant and had to work for him. He did as he was told and rushed over immediately.
Upon arrival, he saw Evelyn lying beside Derek. His shirt was unbuttoned, and she was taking liberties with him, without the reserved manner of a lady.
Damian couldn't bear to look straight at the picture.
He coughed and woke Evelyn up. She wanted to take Derek away, but she didn't dare wake him up for fear that he would drive her away.
Looking at his handsome face, she couldn't help but fantasize.
She didn't expect to be seen.
"Miss Smith, boss is drunk. I'll take him home."
Evelyn got up awkwardly. "Okay, I'll go with you and send him back."
Not in the position to judge, Damian didn't say anything. He bent over and pulled Derek up from the sofa.
