The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 82

Derek knew very well that this was just Meredith's disguise, so he did not have pity for her, just to vent the unhappiness in his heart.

It took some time before Derek finally stopped and pushed Meredith away when she couldn't almost feel her body.

"Get out."

The man walked into the bathroom and ordered her coldly like he was giving orders to some lowly prostitute.

His words stabbed her like a sharp knife. She knew that Derek hated her, but the way he treated her was like trampling her dignity on the ground.

However, she did not dare to stay here; she silently picked up the scattered clothes on the ground and teetered back to the room with her aching body.

After locking the door, Meredith ran into the bathroom immediately. She looked at the disheveled woman in the mirror and felt gloomy.

She had led a life like this.

Meredith thought sadly, turning on the tap, washing her body, and lying down on the bed exhaustedly.

For the next few days, nightmares kept repeating. Derek would sometimes call her into the master bedroom, torture her, and then kick her out.

Because of this physical and mental torture, Meredith soon became much thinner and haggard.

She could only hope that Derek would get tired of this boring thing someday and let her go.

......

Meredith was just about to take a car home when she came out of the office in a daze when suddenly a car stopped in front of her, "Meredith, you haven't been replying to me lately. Why..."

Parker had contacted Meredith for the past few days, but she hadn't replied. Out of worry, he had to come downstairs to her company to wait for her. By the time he saw Meredith, he was so startled that he couldn't finish his sentence.

"What's happened to you? Why are you so skinny?" Parker hurriedly got out of the car. Meredith looked at him dully. Only when she found out it was Parker did she squeeze out a smile.

"It's you..."

Now, no matter what Meredith did, she felt extremely tired. Every night, she was humiliated by Derek. In order to escape from the painful feeling, she had to deceive and isolate herself. Only in this way would she not be driven mad by the sense of shame.

Over time, she felt that she was not normal.

She habitually avoided what was happening outside. She could only understand what others were saying when they talked to her several times.

"You look terrible, Meredith. What happened?"

Parker was really frightened by her appearance. The last time when she was framed by Ava to be the other woman and was insulted by others, she was not like this - a puppet without a soul.

"What happened was that..." Meredith looked at the concern in Parker's eyes. The guard in her heart cracked a little, but she didn't dare to say the following words.

Seeing that she hesitated, Parker got out of the car and helped her to get in, "I'll take you out for a ride."

Meredith wanted to refuse, but when she saw Parker's concerned eyes, she calmed down eventually.

Perhaps, this was the only person in the world who would care so much about her.

Parker took her to the beach.

"Come on, look at the sea. Maybe you'll feel better."

Meredith got out of the car quietly and looked at the blue sea in front of her. The melancholy in her eyes was not a little less.

From the day she was raped and lost her virginity by a man she didn't know, she felt like she could no longer go back to her original life.
