Chapter 137
“Stephen, what do you think about Snow?”
Frightened, Snow’s hand trembled and accidentally spilled some wine on Stephen’s pants.
“I’m so sorry!”
Snow grabbed a napkin, intending to wipe it off when Stephen said, “It’s okay.”
At the same time, he instinctively grabbed her hand, and when they touched, both of them froze.
“What’s going on here?”
Oliver’s voice brought them back to reality. “Snow, you’re so careless! Where are your manners?”
Snow pulled her hand away, her head lowered. I didn’t mean it.”
“Yeah, it’s fine. She didn’t mean it,” Stephen swiftly said.
“Well, don’t just stand there. Thank him, Snow.”
“Thank you, Stephen,” Snow whispered an apology.
Stephen’s heart raced as he stared at her.
“Stephen, back to my question, what do you think of Snow?”
“Snow’s a great girl,” Stephen replied, suddenly pulling his gaze away from Snow.
“Haha!” Oliver burst out laughing while Snow quickly returned to her seat after filling Stephen’s wine glass.
Stephen then remembered there was another reason for the meeting.
“Oliver, since you’re in the steel business, can you build a stadium on water?”
Oliver’s eyes narrowed. He thought of the upcoming sports games and immediately knew Stephen wanted to transform it to focus more on watersports,
“Is it for the upcoming sports games?”
“Yes.”
“It’s possible but not with only one month left until the games. It’ll be tough for my company to handle it alone.”
Stephen’s eyes lit up at the possibility. “Tough? So, it can be done!”
Oliver chuckled. “You’re a sharp one. There’s no one quite like you in the younger

generation. To answer your question, it’s doable, but we’ll have to work with others. I have a few friends that might be able to help. If you have the time now, I can call them over right away.”
Stephen asked, “Are they in Aqua City as well?”
“Yes. They’re all here in Aqua City, seeking to set up a factory here, like me, but all of us have been rejected. I guess they’re going to give up soon.”
Stephen’s heart skipped a beat. Part of his plan was to attract more businesses to the area, but he had not expected many offers to come pouring in so soon!
It was a golden opportunity, one that seemed almost heaven–sent. Even fate was on Aqua City’s side, pushing for the economic rise.
“What kind of business are they in?”
Oliver answered, “Paper, glass, concrete, chemicals, and also food processing. A few of them can help.”
Stephen listened, feeling his anger toward Ethan grow for turning down so many business offers, and from industries in high demand! Each one of those sectors was incredibly profitable.
“Great!” Stephen exclaimed. “Get them all here at once!”
The construction of the water stadium must start as soon as possible.
Oliver quickly pulled his phone out and contacted all the friends he mentioned.
“This is Jamire Lake, the boss of the concrete factory. This is Thomas Youngman, owner of the paper factory. This is Clark Forester, and he owns the glass factory.”
Oliver introduced each of them to Stephen, and the businessmen all handed Stephen their respective name cards.
