Just thinking about Snow filled Stephen with energy.

Seeing the change in Stephen’s expression, Simon felt relieved that his son had finally found the right person. With everything falling into place–timing, opportunity, and support–it seemed impossible for Stephen to all this time! 

More than ten days passed, and the grand opening of the games was just seven days away. As the stadium had finally been completed, Stephen took the mayor for an inspection.

Eighty percent of the field was made of chemical plastic, while the remaining twenty were steel and cement. Despite the large amount of plastic used, two–thirds of the stadium was 

still underwater. 

Since the stadium was built at the intersecting points of several rivers, half of Aqua City’s water transport channels had to be temporarily suspended. 

That would have a significant effect on Aqua City’s economy. 

Stephen said, “The losses during this period are insignificant compared to the future profits.” 

No matter how much they lost now, they would make several times in the future what they were losing now. Thus, Stephen was not worried at all. Everything was progressing smoothly, and there would not be any major problems in Aqua City. 

Oliver’s factory was almost complete, and most of the equipment was already in production. 

Stephen returned to his hotel and calmly waited for the opening of the games to begin in seven days 

“The water sports stadium I’ve built will shock the world! Aqua City will become famous!” 

He was excited for the games. That would be the start of his rise to fame! 

“I’ll tell Snow about this good news.” 

With that, Stephen took out his phone and dialed Snow’s number.

Stephen frowned, wondering why she was suddenly unreachable.

“Could that wench Rachel be bullying her again?” 

Stephen assumed that Rachel must be bullying Snow by cleaning the house while he was not around. At that thought, Stephen immediately called Rachel. 

Back at home, Rachel sat alone, feeling downcast. With Stephen’s change of affection, she did not know how she would move on with her life. 

Just then, her phone rang. When she picked it up and saw it was from Stephen, she was overjoyed. 

“He called me. He must miss me!” 

With hope in her chest, Rachel answered the phone. 

“Bitch!”
