Ethan had left them too traumatized. 

They had witnessed a businessmen get crushed to death by an electronic signboard that fell from the sky, right in front of them. Blood splattered all over them, making them scream on the spot. 

The most terrifying thing was that after the investigation, the person’s death was ruled an accident, not murder! 

“I’ll be more mindful next time,” Oliver said, “There’s something more important now.” 

“Don’t tell me… Is Snow planning to go against Ethan?” 

They all gasped in unison when they thought of that possibility. 

The last person who tried to use a honeypot trap against Ethan met a horrible death. His room was filled with blood, and his family was poisoned to death. 

‘I don’t think so.” 

Oliver looked nervous as he brought it up. Simply bringing up the topic gave him chills. After all, he was the one who sent Snow out on that mission. 

“It’s not about Ethan. It’s about Snow. She knows that her parents are dead, so her wish has been fulfilled. I’m worried she’ll betray us. 

The others‘ expressions grew somber. 

Snow knew too much. If she betrayed them and leaked any information, it would be 

disastrous. 

“What do you plan to do?” someone asked. 

Oliver’s expression was cold. “We strike first. We’ll expose her and send her to prison. That way, no one will believe her no matter what she says. Even if someone investigates us, we’ve been doing legitimate business, so we have nothing to fear.” 

Although they had made a lot of money, they were well–prepared for any scrutiny and could handle any questions thrown their way. 

The only thing that could be used against them were the pollution discharge violations. However, that would just lead to a fine. It would not affect their income, and it definitely would not land them in prison. 

“That plan sounds good.” 

“Let’s go with it.” 

They all agreed to Oliver’s plan.

Meanwhile, Stephen had just mediated the disputes with the towns. He had to fork out another 300 million, which finally got all the townspeople on board regarding the money and land issues. 

On the way back, the mayor looked as if he had something to say but could not find the words. 

Seeing that, Stephen said, “If you have something to say, just say it.” 

“We’ve been spending a lot lately.” The mayor said, “We’re close to hitting the 10 billion mark.” 

“That much?” Stephen was also surprised. 

However, one had to spend money to gain money. The money he was spending now was to lay the foundation for the future. 

“It’s fine. Now that everything is going smoothly, we’ll earn back what we spent a hundred times over once the sports games start.” 

The mayor could only hope that was the case. 

When Stephen returned to his hotel, he picked up his phone and reported the progress of Aqua City to Simon. 

“Everything’s on track. The stadium is almost complete.” 

Simon chuckled. “You’ve done well. Everything is stable now, and Aqua City is about to take off. You’ll soon become famous across the nation.” 

Stephen smiled too. 

“By the way, there’s something else I want to tell you. I met a girl recently. Her name is Snow Green, and I really like her.” 

Simon chuckled. “Since you like her, go after her. You’re a Quinn. It’s normal for you to have multiple women. Don’t worry. Whatever problems come up, we can handle them.‘ 

Stephen asked, “Will there be any problems with the Lowes? Rachel seems upset.” 

“Her opinion doesn’t matter,” Simon said firmly. “Giving her the status as your wife is already showing her enough respect.”
