Chapter 160
For the next few days, Snow stopped eating or drinking. She intended to starve herself to death.
Liam immediately had her transferred to a hospital as he did not allow her to just perish.
He watched her sit on the bed with vacant eyes and felt troubled. There was no other choice.
He headed to Drakthorn Ridge to see Ethan.
When he arrived at the villa entrance, he saw Ethan watering the vegetables.
Ethan had cleared a small plot of land in the courtyard to grow vegetables. The crops were growing well and would be ready for harvest soon.
“Mr. Liam, I’d like to request an audience,” Liam stood at the gate and called out respectfully.
Ethan did not turn around, but his voice drifted over. “Come in.”
Only then did Liam dare to enter.
“It’s about Snow, isn’t it?”
Liam lowered his head. “Yes. I apologize for the trouble. Snow lied to Stephen and completely severed ties with him. She’s on a hunger strike now and has lost the will to live.”
Ethan put the watering can down and walked over slowly. “If she doesn’t want to live, then let her die. Suicide to atone for her crimes… At least, she won’t have to spend her whole life in prison. It could be considered a release.‘
“But…” Liam was speechless. He had come to Ethan to seek advice on how to save Snow.
After all, as the chief of police, he could not bear to let a human life slip away just like that.
Unexpectedly, Ethan suggested to let Snow die
Ethan walked over and handed him a box around the size of a fist.
“There’s a drug in this box. If she drinks it, her death will be painless.”
Liam was stunned. He was truly astonished. Not only did Ethan tell Snow to die, but he even prepared poison as well.
