Was this even medicine? What kind of medicine was worth five million dollars? It was more valuable than gold!

Liam took the box and left Drakthorn Ridge. 

At the hospital, he looked at Snow sitting on the bed with a lifeless expression and said, “I just visited Mr. Rivers.” 

“He gave you a vial of medicine.” 

“Once you drink it, you will go painlessly.” 

Snow took the box and opened it. Inside was a small vial of red liquid. Looking at the vial, she smiled with relief.

Liam nodded. 

“Before I go, can I entrust you with a letter?” Snow asked.

“For Stephen.” 

Liam was silent for a moment, then nodded in agreement. He had someone bring paper, a pen, and an envelope, then sat nearby waiting.

Liam waited for half an hour before calling the doctor.

Liam was surprised. “You know me?” 

“Yes,” the young woman smiled. “Mr. Rivers told me to wait for you here.”
