“Speaking of Ethan Rivers, can you tell us what kind of person he is?” 

Stephen was delighted to comment on Ethan’s character. It was the perfect chance for him to crush him underfoot! 

“I believe everyone knows he is a vile person, but he’s also a hypocrite, narrow–minded, and jealous. He can’t stand others doing better than him. 

“Take this recent incident, for example. The mayor and the police commander, who had done so well, used to be oppressed by him. 

“Ethan’s a master at putting on a facade. He likes to pretend that he’s doing it for the people, but it’s all smoke and lies. He even forged a lot of appreciation letters to fool the people into believing he’s a good guy. But, honestly, I think he’s starting to believe his own lies. 

“And despite being incompetent, he always loves taking credit for others‘ achievements, claiming them as his own. In truth, he’s contributed nothing to the development of Riveria. Without him, Riveria will only get better!” 

His words struck a chord with the reporters. Some of them even felt angry. Ethan’s crimes were unforgivable! 

“Thankfully, Mr. Quinn, you’ve come to take charge!” The reporter looked at Stephen and asked, “Are you confident in raising Riveria’s GDP to 20 trillion? How many years do you think it would take?” 

Stephen smiled confidently. “Three years? No. Two years would be enough.” 

The reporters could not help but applaud. Raising Riveria’s GDP by five trillion in just two years? It was not just ambitious–it was revolutionary! 

The interview went on for a little longer. 

Toward the end, one of the reporters said, “We’re going to interview Ethan Rivers next. Would you like to come along?” 

“Interview Ethan Rivers?” 

Stephen was intrigued. There was no way he would miss an opportunity to see Ethan make a fool of himself. 

“Of course. I’d love to see how he reacts after I’ve foiled all of his wicked plans. I want to see regret on his face,” he said.

Liam approached Ethan with a troubled expression and said, “Mr. Rivers, there are some reporters here to see you. Stephen and… Rachel are here as well.” 

He hesitated for a moment before mentioning Rachel’s name. He heard Ethan had once been deeply in love with Rachel. It was even because of her that he governed over Riveria. 

Now that Rachel had abandoned Ethan and started dating Stephen, Ethan’s rival, Liam was afraid it would stir Ethan’s emotions when he saw her, which might result in some rash 

and reckless actions. 

Ethan got to his feet and said, “Let’s go have a look.” 

He was curious about why the reporters would want to meet him. However, when he heard Stephen and Rachel were also there, he knew what was going on. 

They must have accused him of doing something despicable and instigated the reporters to interview him. Ethan was interested to see what Stephen had accused him of. 

Soon after, Ethan found himself in a meeting room, facing them. 

“Ethan Rivers is here!” 

The cameras were immediately pointed at him, taking pictures of his every move. However, when the reporters and Rachel saw him, they were slightly surprised.
