"Even after treating her external injuries, she'll need quite some time to regain her health. Mr. Langton said it would probably take some time."

Leon sighed. "I don't know who could do such a cruel thing. Not only was she beaten, she wasn't given enough to eat. She's severely malnourished and her body is in awful shape. If it weren't for the kind soul who saved her and brought her here, I'm afraid she wouldn't have made it."

Natalie nodded. "Alright then. Let's just wait for her to wake up. Let's not disturb her for now."

Hector and Natalie moved to another room and sat on the couch. In front of them was a square table with electric heating, covered with thick fabric.

As soon as Natalie and Hector sat down, Leon moved to turn on the heater, but Natalie quickly stopped him.

"Mr. Zimmer, we're not cold."

"Oh, alright." Leon sat back down. "Then I'll just turn the heater on my side."

"Sure, that's fine."

After a while, Sharon returned with a pot of tea. "Ms. Natalie, Ms. Lombard is so pitiful. When Mr. Langton brought her here, she was barely alive. Whoever did this to her was truly cruel. If it weren't for Mr. Langton, she would've died."

Sharon sighed. "She hasn't said much to us, but she begged us to see you, Ms. Natalie. But Mr. Langton told us to take good care of her. Once the time was right, you would come here. And sure enough, here you are."

"Yes. She wants to see me, and she mentioned the Langleys. She might have something important to tell me."

Natalie took a sip of the tea and turned to Hector. "Have some tea too."

"Alright, thanks."
