"They were protecting you," Natalie said flatly. "My people have been protecting you. Otherwise, do you think you can rest and recuperate here in peace? Since you mentioned the Langleys, it looks like I'll have to pay them a visit."

She stood up and added, "It looks like I should meet with Kenton as well. Grace has certainly prepared quite a few surprises for me."

A mocking smile appeared on her face. If Grace was involved in Laura's childbirth, it meant she had set her sights on the Holdens years ago.

However, Natalie couldn't figure out many of Grace's actions. So, she needed to meet her.

"Ms. Lombard, get some rest. With Mr. and Mrs. Zimmer taking care of you, you'll get better soon."

With that, Natalie turned and walked out.

Hector was chatting with the couple. When they saw her come out of the room, they all stood up.

"Nat, how did it go?" he asked.

"Hector, we need to make a trip to the Langley residence." Natalie picked up her backpack and put it on. "Mr. and Mrs. Zimmer, please take good care of Julie. I have something else to handle."

"Oh, of course. Ms. Natalie, don't worry. We'll look after Ms. Lombard."

Natalie gave a nod and then called Hector to leave the clinic with her.

Inside the car, Hector asked, "Nat, what did you and Julie talk about?"

"She said she's Kenton Langley's wife, and Kenton is Grace's younger brother. She also said the Langleys arranged for her to become Lucy's assistant. Also, Grace had met with Cassie many years ago."

Natalie pinched the bridge of her nose. "Grace's biological daughter is Megan Langley, who used to be Laura's nutritionist. Also, Victor isn't Grace's biological son.

"Selena was taken from the hospital and sold by Kenton because Grace disliked Diana. Also, Victor went against Grace's wishes and insisted on marrying Diana. Hector, does any of this make sense to you?"

Hector was dumbfounded. "She abandoned her biological daughter to raise Victor, who wasn't even related to her by blood. Then, she took Victor's daughter away and sold her off, just because Victor didn't listen to her. Nat, is that what you're saying?"

Hector was starting to question his own understanding. Could a person really do such a thing?

Natalie nodded. "That's right. That's what Julie said to me. Hector, you think this is farfetched, right? "

Hector pondered for a moment before answering, "But if you think about it carefully, it's possible. Look, after you were taken to the Langley family, you ended up being used as Diana's walking blood bank.

"Could it be possible that Grace never intended for Kenton to sell Selena? Maybe he did it behind her back."

"Regardless, they're all human traffickers." Natalie's gaze turned icy. "Julie said Kenton's whereabouts are unpredictable, and he was rarely home. She doesn't see him much.

"I've stayed in the Langley residence for almost 20 years. Aside from overhearing Grace mention her younger brother on a phone call once, I never saw anyone named Kenton around.

"When we get there and see Grace, we'll find out."

"Alright." Hector nodded. "Nat, the Langleys hate us to the core. We should bring more people with us."

"There's no need for that." She took out a small bottle from her bag, opened it, and poured out two pills, handing one to Hector. "Take it."

"Okay." Hector took the pill without question and swallowed it as Natalie instructed.

"This is an antidote. By taking it in advance, we don't have to worry about the Langleys poisoning us. I was once caught off guard and drugged by Victor. I won't give them another chance."
