Chapter 120 Planting The Seeds Of Doubt
Tiffany had been training in combat arts since she was a child and possessed a fearless character. In the past, Raylee was nothing more than a weakling when compared to her!
Unexpectedly, a simple disagreement now had Raylee drawing a gun. It shocked Tiffany deeply!
Could four years in prison really cause such a drastic change in a p
person?
“What are you afraid of, Ms. Tiffany? You had me thrown into prison for several years, I should be the one who’s scared.” Raylee scoffed.
“Are you here to seek revenge against me” Tiffany scoffed, “If you dare, pull the trigger! Let’s see if you can make it out of Lorimer Estate alive today!”
Raylee seemed deep in thought as she said, “Ms. Tiffany, how could I dare to point a gun at you? So far, the only person I’ve used it against was Jeremiah. I snatched this gun from him, you know Before I did. I shot him once. He’s probably on his way to the hospital by now.”
“What?
You took that lunatic’s gun and shot at him?” Tiffany exclaimed in disbelief. “You’ve really become quite bold, haven’t you? How did you end up like this?”
Raylee toyed with the handgun, a smirk playing on her lips that was neither a smile nor a frown.
“Ms. Layla, it’s been four years; it’s only natural that I’ve changed. For better or worse, I’m going to marry Jeremiah. You’ll be my sister–in–law in the future, so all I hope for is that we can live in harmony. If you ever push me into a corner, remember. guns don’t discriminate.”
“Are you threatening me?” Tiffany exclaimed, her temper flaring in frustration. “I thought Jeremiah was crazy, but it turns out you’re just as mad! A pair of lunatics getting married – there’s no way your future won’t be lively!”
“I know you have feelings for Casimir. Four years ago, you blew the necklace incident out of proportion, leading to my imprisonment. You did it to remove me from the picture so you could have Casimir all to yourself” Raylee stated bluntly.
“How did you know!” Tiffany asked in astonishment, but she quickly regained her composure. “Well, either way. secret! It’s just as well that you know. A lowly adopted girl like you doesn’t deserve someone like Casimir!”

“What about you then? Do you think you’re worthy? I was gone for four years, yer Casimir still ended up marrying Waverly. You’re nothing” Raylee scornfully mocked. “You’ve been with him since childhood, yet you can’t compare to a newcomer, You’re nothing but a complete failure”
Tiffany was provoked Her face radiated with intense hatred, her fists clenched rightly.
“Who does Waverly think she is? I’ve never considered her a threat. Just wait and see who gets the last laugh!”
“Ms. Tiffany, don’t be too overconfident. You’re no match for her!” Raylee shook her head and scoffed.
“I, an esteemed daughter of the Lorimer family, am considered inferior to a country–bred wild woman?” Tiffany uttered disdainfully.
“I don’t doubt your capabilities, Ms. Tiffany, especially after having been bested by you before. But what if I told you that the one who stole the necklace four years ago was actually Waverly?”
“What do you mean?” Tiffany asked, greatly surprised.
“Four years ago, I was wrongfully accused. Yet, Waverly managed to sway everyone, including Casimir, to her side, making me the scapegoat.” Raylee furrowed her eyebrows and added. “Can you really afford to underestimate such a formidable
woman?”
“Is that really what happened?” Tiffany was utterly shocked. “You’re not just spouting nonsense, using me to get back at Waverly, are you?”
“Feel free to investigate if you think I’m spouting nonsense. Anyway, I won’t bother you any further.”
With an unreadable expression, Raylee pocketed her gun, then she turned and left, cradling the injured kitten.

Having a gun was indeed useful. At the very least, its deterrent power was evident, preventing others from causing trouble. recklessly. No wonder Jeremiah always carried a gun with him.
I should find more opportunities to swipe a few more guns from that lunatic.
