Chapter 121 I Will Not Part With Mindy
“Mindy is a good friend of mine, and I don’t want her to be threatened. Seeing her so frightened really breaks my heart.”
Harriet’s expression was evidently filled with displeasure.
“Ray–Ray, you’ve really crossed the line. Mindy was initially at the hospital accompanying Wavy to see the doctor, but your sudden threats caused Wavy to insist on coming along no matter what. Do you have any idea how deep the wounds on Wavy’s wrist are! She threatened to take her own life, and it’s all because of you! If she doesn’t receive proper treatment, her wrist will be left with deep scars.”
Faced with the accusations, Raylee felt nothing. She simply cast a nonchalant glance over the trio.
“She didn’t have to come if she didn’t want to. It’s not like I held a knife to her throat.”

“But you her throat?”
“Compared to the four years of torment I endured in prison, this threat doesn’t seem excessive to me. And your wounds, can “they compare to the ones I carry?” Raylee scoffed.
Harriet sighed. “Ray–Ray, I understand you’re upset and resentful, but just drop the argument, will you? Let’s quickly get what you need so that Wavy can see the doctor sooner.”
Raylee frowned, saying, “Let’s have a look around then.”
Her original intention was to spend some alone time with Mindy, but unexpectedly, two more people showed up. This rendered Mindy’s presence here pointless.
At that moment, Mindy suddenly suggested, “Raylee, why don’t you consider buying some jewelry? I know there’s a fantastic jewelry store on the third floor. Their flagship piece is absolutely stunning.”
“All right, I’ll listen to you.” Raylee didn’t object.
The group set off together for the jewelry store..
On the way there, Mindy discreetly sent out a message: We’re on our way now, so make sure you’re ready. Everything must go off without a hitch.
“Are you very busy?”
Observing Mindy engrossed in her phone, Raylee inquired.
“No, no, let’s hurry up. The flagship piece of that shop is really beautiful” Mindy hastily put away her phone, pretending as if nothing had happened!
They soon arrived at the jewelry store on the third floor.
Upon seeing the so–called flagship piece, Raylee was not as astounded as she had imagined she would be.
Mindy was busily showing her around the other pieces of jewelry. Her eagerness was a bit too much, bordering on abnormal.
As she sat in the lounge, Mindy enthusiastically brought over a glass of lemonade, saying with a smile, “Ray–Ray, have some lemonade first. Take your time looking around. You’re bound to find something you like.”
“No thanks,” Raylee calmly declined.
Waverly complained from the side, “Raylee, Mindy has been taking care of you so diligently. Could you not be so cold.
toward her?”
“So, by your logir, I should greet her with a smile?” Kaylee cast a thoughtful glance at Waverly. “You’ve been keeping a real close eye on your best friend, haven’t you? Are you afraid that if I interact with her alone, I might discover something?”
“Raylee, what are you talking about? When have I been keeping a close eye on Mindy?” Waverly’s gaze flickered nervously at

Finished
After finishing her phone call. Harriet walked over and urged, “Ray–Ray, have you found something you like? Feel free to choose. Ill cover the bill. But hurry up as Wavy still needs to get to the hospital to check on her wrist.”
“Then you two should head to the hospital. I’ll take my time looking around with Mindy,” Raylee subtly suggested.
“No. I want to be with Mindy!” Waverly protested, her eyes rimmed with redness. “I don’t want to part ways with Mindy. I’m afraid she’ll be bullied. Mom, you know Mindy is the one who saved my life, so she is as vital to me as my own life.”
