Chapter 263 Disregarding His Personal Image
Raylee was at a loss as to why these two had approached her. What are they really up to?
However, she wasn’t particularly interested in finding out, so she casually replied, “Got it.”
th
She was about to leave, but Casimir had no intention of letting her do so.
He persistently declared, “I came today to make it clear to you that I no longer have feelings for you. If you still have feelings for me, you need to express them. Don’t keep them bottled up inside. Let’s all lay our cards on the table. Only by speaking honestly can we let go of our preconceptions and start anew.”
The color drained from Raylee’s face abruptly, leaving her expression icy cold.
As she looked into Casimir’s eyes, she radiated a chillingly ominous coldness and said, “Five months ago, you deceived me and conned me of my shares, and you have the audacity to claim that I still have feelings for you? You’re nothing but a liar! Why don’t you take a look at anirror and reflect upon yourself? Given your repulsive appearance, I wouldn’t fancy you even if every man in the world were to drop dead!”
That response of hers left Casimir both embarrassed and uncomfortable.
He angrily grabbed Raylee’s arm, seething with resentment as he exclaimed,
“Do you really hate me this much? Is this truly how you feel? If you truly didn’t care anymore, then why are you being so emotional right now? I don’t believe it, Ray–Ray, I want to hear your innermost thoughts!”
Upon noticing Casimir’s off–kilter demeanor, Waverly felt like a deflated balloon, her heart filled with immense discomfort.
“Casimir, weren’t you here to clarify things with Raylee? Why does it seem as though you still can’t let go of your feelings for her?”
Her tears were falling incessantly once again.
She then turned around and tearfully addressed Raylee, “Raylee, this was your strategy, wasn’t it? By taking a step back, you’ve advanced a step forward! By rejecting him. you’ve kindled a sense of longing in Casimir. Isn’t that right? How could you be so cunning? I’m about to get engaged to Casimir soon! I’m on the verge of becoming a part of the Sutherland family. Do you not fear divine retribution for stealing someone’s lover like this?”
The sounds of her crying attracted a crowd of students, who gathered around them out of curiosity.
“Isn’t that the new transfer student? I heard she got involved with a married man and became his sugar baby! Now she’s even trying to steal the campus belle’s fiance!”
“She’s so promiscuous!”
“I know, right? The campus belle sure is pitiful, being bullied to the point of tears like that!”
Hearing the whispers of the onlookers, Raylee felt nothing but annoyance.
Why do weirdos like Casimir and Waverly even exist in this world? After swindling me out of my shares, how could Casimir possibly have the audacity to come and ask me such questions? I’m no masochist, so there’s no way I’d still have feelings for a sc*mbag who deceived me like that! I still have important matters to attend to, so I can’t afford to waste any more of my time on these two!
Raylee tried to shake off Casimir’s hand, but he held onto her tightly. “I won’t let you leave until you explain yourself! If you don’t want to do so in front of a crowd, we can speak in private instead. Just give me your contact information!”
F*ck off!” Raylee completely lost her patience.
Just as she was about to give him a piece of her mind, Halston arrived on his motorcycle.
“Stop wasting your words on them, Ray–Ray! Come on; I’ll give you a ride home on my beloved motorcycle!”
He casually whistled, then, considering himself quite the charmer, he nonchalantly shook his green hair.
He then patted the back seat of the car, inviting Raylee to hop on.
