Chapter 74 Expressing His Feelings For Her
“Do tell Casimir nodded in agreement.
“After I get out, I want to watch a movie with you. Waverly said, looking at him cautiously. Her eyes, blurred with tears, were filled with hope.
“No problem.” Casimir readily agreed.
Waverly was so thrilled she could almost fly. She shot Raylee a smug look before finally turning to leave the hospital room.
Little did they know, in Raylee’s perspective, these things were utterly insignificant, she didn’t care at all.
After Waverly left. Casimir stayed behind.
Raylee treated him as if he were invisible. He had asked her several questions, but she remained silent. After spending some time with her grandmother, she returned to her own hospital room.
Casimir persistently followed her around.
As she descended the stairs. Raylee quickened her pace, eager to shake off this gloomy presence.
Yet, due to the pain caused by her leg injury, she nearly fell.
Behind her. Casimir swiftly scooped her up into his arms.
Holding her in a princess carry, he nearly enveloped her frail figure completely.
Raylee wanted to resist, but the more she struggled, the tighter his embrace became. It was as if she were sinking into a marsh, falling deeper and deeper into the vast expanse of his chest.
“Don’t move, I’ll take you back to your room.” Casimir commanded, his tone brooking no argument.
Raylee frowned. “Your fiancée just left and here you are, holding another woman. Do you think that’s appropriate?”
Raylee taunted, “Help me! Then stay away from me. I don’t want to get tangled up with my ex and invite unnecessary trouble
Casimir cast his gaze downward at her, her petite face revealing an indifference that bordered on heartlessness..
It seemed as though no matter what he did, he couldn’t penetrate her indifference.
He felt an inexplicable irritation welling up within him. With a sudden surge of determination, his grip on her hand tightened as he swiftly descended the staircase.
And so, Raylee was assertively carried back to the sickroom by him.
He gently laid her on the sickbed, positioning the pillow for her, treating her as though he was caring for a precious treasure.
The tenderness of that moment left Raylee somewhat dazed.
The last time Shanice’s car hit her, he had held her in his arms–but it was just a brief moment of contact.
This ue, he carried her all the way from upstairs to the sickroom.
Her petite figure was curled up in his embrace, she could even catch the faint, pleasant scent of pine wafting from him.
As she lifted her gaze, she could see his attractively taut jawline, which was enough to make her blush and her heart race.
How could she not be moved!

hatred for him was inevitably veiled by a certain filter.
“Tll get the wrong idea if you continue staring at me like that Casimir raised his head to meet her gaze,
A faint smile touched his deep, dark eyes
Finished
Kaylee quickly turned away, akin to a child caught red–handed while speaking a treat, a trace of alarm flickered across her
face
But in a fleeting moment, she regained her usual composure. “I need to rest now, you should go,” she said.
“No good deed goes unpunished, huh? I went through all that trouble to carry you back, and not even a word of thanks. You ate, cleaned up, and then just sent me on my way.”
The tone of Casimir’s words was akin to a man lamenting his dissatisfaction.
Baylee looked at him in surprise, this scoundrel of a man was becoming increasingly incomprehensible to her.
He never used to say such cheesy things before.
“Thank you, is that enough? Raylee responded to him nonchalantly.
