“Dad, don’t mention the old history.”
Her father drank too much because though he could still talk, he was tongue-tied. Olive Steele was going to stopped him from drinking again, but the old man of hers glared at her slightly, “Why not? It’s nothing ashamed. Besides, this man can learn how to value you after he knows all your tough times. ”
“Don’t Olive. I’m willing to listen.” Alan Hoyle needed to learn her history from the closet person of hers.
Chloe Malan saw Olive was almost done eating, and she pulled her up, “Just let them drink. He’ not going to eat your Alan alive. Come with me, we need to talk.”
Olive was dragged to the bedroom. The same second the door was closed, Olive saw Chloe pounced, so she dodged to the other side of the bed in a hurry.
“I told you almost everything you wanted to know, what else do you want to talk with me?” Olive asked.
“You tell me.” Chloe smirked.
“Well, I don’t know.” Olive was playing dumb.
“You don’t know? Olive Steele! If I didn’t saw the news online, you would never tell me your little secret!”
“No, I would! I told you when he came back I would confess everything to you guys. It was an accident.” She did not expect things to go like this either.
“An accident?” Chloe narrowed her eyes slightly, “You never told me the man you brought back was Alan Hoyle.”
“Yeah, I can’t argue with that.” Olive shrugged, “Oh, by the way, what exactly did people say online? I didn’t have the chance to look at it. Wait a second, I’ll take a look at it.”
“Cut it off.” Chloe rolled her eyes because she knew Olive was changing the subject.
“Please, mercy, my lady.” Olive clasped her hands toward Chloe, “It just happened.”
“How long?” Chloe was not going to let go of her easily.
“Not long.”
Chloe narrowed her eyes again.
