Olive Steele felt that he was holding her hand tightly. A possessive men were sometime like children. He was jealous while he knew that she didn’t mean that to Ivy Aldington. He declared his ownership and it was awkward.
Stingy would always be stingy. If he was to be coveted by another woman, she wouldn’t be happy too.
She looked around the bar and saw no Dave Chou. Instead she saw Ivy Aldington sitting at the bar chatting with a strange man.
“Ivy, aren’t you coming with Dave Chou?” she asked.
The man next to him turned around and smiled, “Little Sister, don’t you know me after I dress up a little? You’re hurting my self-esteem.”
Olive Steele was stunned. Wasn’t it Dave Chou’s voice, “Where is your beard?”
Dave Chou’s most iconic feature was his unshaved beard which covered his entire chin and down several centimeters long. He looked bold, like a Han tribe of the Northwest. This clean shaved man in front of her looked handsome. His tan skin complimented his new features.
His eye and brows was his, but it was so different as if he was a different person.
“The beard.” Dave Chou touched his chin, “My woman shaved it for me. Am I handsome?”
Olive Steele rolled her eyes. What a narcissist.
It turned out that after leaving the restaurant the other day, he forcefully stuffed Xenia Boswell into his car and took her to have fun all afternoon. However, she was not happy.
He threw Xenia Boswell on the bed and said sternly, “Don’t think that if Olive Steele marries Alan Hoyle, Ivy Aldington will have a feeling to you. You have to be my woman all your life.”
That night, he was like a thirsty wolf, demanding several rounds from her. Until she begged for mercy and cried pitifully, he finally fell asleep with a content heart.
But, when he woke up the next day, he found out that the woman was gone and his heard was badly cut. It scattered around the bed. He was so upset he almost flipped the bed.
The worse thing was that his woman took a flight back to Hainan to hide under the protection her brother. Dave Chou couldn’t fight back after being beaten. How could he fight his future brother-in-law? Fortunately, he had a thick skin that he could stand the beating. He was beaten like a punching bag. He was not allowed to fall down and bleed.
Finally, he won her back, but her brother still refused to talk to him. At the bar, they refused to sit with him, they preferred to sit with the waiters. They really had no respect toward him.
