As Blair walked past Abigail, Abigail suddenly reached out and grabbed her arm.
Blair met her gaze with calm poise, a faint, deliberate smile playing on her lips. "Ms. Bardot, what do you want?"
Abigail's voice was icy, her tone leaving no room for argument. "Stay away from him. Samuel is my husband. He's not someone you can flirt with whenever you please."
Blair raised her eyebrows, feigning a sudden realization. She blinked dramatically and asked, "Oh? Really? So, Samuel is your husband?"
Her voice carried a trace of mockery. "Then, tell me. Who exactly is Joshua? You know, the guy everyone saw you with all over the internet not so long ago?"
At the mention of Joshua, Abigail's expression froze, her face turning as cold and stiff as marble.
Blair seized the opportunity, her smile sharpening. "Ms. Bardot, I must say, this is the first time I've encountered someone with such shameless audacity. Flaunting another man in public and then turning around to claim that Samuel is your husband?"
She tilted her head, her voice laced with biting sarcasm. "Why not post a poll online? Let's ask the public who they think the real husband of Ms. Bardot is."
Her mocking tone was razor-sharp, cutting straight into Abigail's composure. Abigail's face darkened, her expression twisting into a mixture of anger and embarrassment.
Blair, however, seemed to revel in the moment. Waving a dismissive hand, she sneered, "You reek of fake virtue. Honestly, it's disgusting."
With those parting words, Blair strode away with deliberate pride, her every step exuding confidence.
It was my first time witnessing Blair's biting wit in full force, and it was nothing short of ruthless. To leave Abigail speechless like that was a feat, and Blair had done it with finesse. She truly was a formidable woman.
