The Marriage She Turned into War novel Chapter 205

"He's disgusting. I can't stand him," one of the students muttered, their face scrunched up in disdain as if just mentioning Joshua was akin to smelling garbage.

"Alright. That's enough!" Hanson stepped forward, shaking his head lightly. "There's no need to keep talking about this. Focus on your own work. Don't waste time worrying about what others are doing. Understood?"

The students lowered their heads and nodded apologetically.

"Yes, Mr. Jigman. We won't do it again."

Once the students left the office, Hanson turned to me with a thoughtful expression.

After a moment of hesitation, he said, "Samuel, I've heard about what's going on online..."

I could tell that he meant to comfort me. In the past, even when things had blown up publicly, he rarely brought them up. But now that both Joshua and I worked under him, he couldn't turn a blind eye.

He placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder, looking at me with genuine concern. "If there's anything bothering you, just let me know. I'll do my best to help."

I smiled and shook my head. "Don't worry, Mr. Jigman. I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" He gave me a doubtful look, his worry evident. "If you're struggling to manage this, I can arrange some time off for you. Or, if it helps, you can take a break and come back once Joshua leaves the company."

I chuckled softly and shook my head again. "Really, I'm fine, Mr. Jigman. Right now, my career is my top priority. Nothing else matters enough to distract me."
