The Marriage She Turned into War novel Chapter 385

Michael's gaze was sharp and filled with malice. It seemed that he was ready to take me down. His eyes carried a dark, foreboding intensity, as if he were on the verge of smashing the wine bottle on my head.

I found the whole situation laughable. "Michael, what era are you living in? Still pulling this kind of stunt?"

Michael sneered, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "So what? Why do you care what I do? As long as it works, right?"

His mocking and dismissive tone pushed Sophia to the edge. She pulled out her phone to call the police, but Michael knocked it to the ground with a harsh swipe.

His eyes narrowed with anger as he spat, "What? Think you can call for help? Let me make it clear, nobody leaves here without my permission today."

The atmosphere grew tenser by the second, and it seemed like a fight was about to break out.

Suddenly, a voice echoed from the stairs.

Joshua came down with a sneer, glancing at Michael with disdain. "I can't even eat in peace. I'm curious who has the guts to talk so arrogantly here."

Michael's eyes widened in shock. He looked up in disbelief and froze when he saw Joshua and his bodyguards. He instinctively stumbled backward a few steps, his face turning pale with fear and anxiety.

"W-Who are you?"

Joshua's face remained cold as he pointed at Michael and snapped, "You don't even know who I am, yet you're acting tough? Are you out of your mind? Get out of here before I lose my temper!"

As Joshua spoke, his bodyguards cracked their knuckles menacingly. Their eyes were sharp and dangerous, as if they were ready to strike at any moment.
