Diana yelled so loudly, but she pretended not to hear.
According to her, Iris had been spoiled by Navier, and now the little girl had to start accepting discipline from the Spencer family.
Anyway, they had installed soundproof glass on the balcony and were far from other buildings, so no matter how loud she yelled, no one outside could hear.
Diana found a place to vent her anger.
She reached out to poke Iris's forehead, "You're not good at anything, you're just born from Navier!"
Iris's eyes turned red as she stared at her.
"See, see, everything is spoiled by Navier!" Diana pointed her finger aimlessly.
Before, Iris was always afraid and couldn't look directly at her like this.
She twisted Iris's ear.
After twisting it, she pushed the little girl against the wall, "Stand here quietly, or you'll starve!"
Servant, Laura, stood outside the door, looking at Iris being bullied like that, she could only shake her head and sigh.
But she was just a servant, she couldn't say anything.
It wasn't until the clock struck 11 o'clock that Diana finally breathed a sigh of relief and approached.
"Iris, we have to go."
"Where are we going?"
After punishing Iris, Diana's mood had improved slightly.
Laura had been ordered to take Iris away, the little girl had nothing to do here.
"The young master called and said I have to take Iris to the gate, Navier is waiting." Laura quickly reiterated Aubrey's words.
Diana really didn't like children, she always wanted Iris to disappear.
But in her heart, a sudden plot emerged.
Navier treated her badly, she wanted revenge too.
The highest method of revenge against someone is to cause pain to the person they care about the most.
Iris is the person Navier cares about the most!
Thinking of this, Diana quickly ran up to Pamela, pulling the corner of her dress, "Mother, what is my brother doing? Iris is our flesh and blood, how can we let Navier take her away!"
Pamela's face immediately turned sour.
"What is your brother thinking, sending our child away like this? Does he not fear the gossip that will surely follow?"
Although she didn't like Iris, honor was the most important thing.
"Iris is not going anywhere, she will stay at home!" She ordered.
"Oh..." Laura looked helpless, looking worriedly at Iris, "Navier is waiting outside, what if she come in and made trouble?"
"Bring her in, I will talk to her." Pamela said coldly, her lazy and noble face resembling an ancient queen.
Laura couldn't do anything else, she could only go outside to find Navier.
Navier's perspective
When I walked in, Pamela was reclining on the chaise lounge like a lazy and noble woman.
Diana and Iris were nowhere to be seen.
“Madam, Navier has arrived,” Laura announced two or three times, but she didn’t react.
She just waved her hand, dismissing Laura.
Laura looked at me with a worried look.
I nodded gently, making a gesture with my mouth that said, “I’m fine.”
Laura then turned and left.
Pamela finally sat up straight, but she didn’t look directly at me, just holding a cup of tea in her hand and sipping it.
“Where is Iris?” I, not in the mood for pleasantries, asked directly.
She frowned, angered by my intrusion. “Is this your manner, to enter my threshold without greeting me first?”
Ha!
An unmannered person teaching me about manners?
