The Moon and The Ocean novel Chapter 39

MOON'S POV:-

I reached the garden of our mansion and quickly went towards my grandfather who was lying on the ground. He was badly wounded, like he was in a fight. He opened his eyes and tried to say something to me but he lost consciousness. I looked around and understood what he was trying to tell me. About fifty vampires were standing in my garden, ready to attack me and tear me into pieces. I gritted my teeth seeing them invading my territory.

Moon: You must be new around, or you would never have invaded Alpha Zeus' territory. I give you a chance to get your useless asses out of my territory. If anyone stays, I will tear them apart like a piece of paper.

I threatened them and they all started laughing. I smirked knowing what the future holds for them all.

A newborn vampire: Master Valtor ordered to kill the old man. He wants this one alive. He will be our Master's pet soon. Keep your target at the old vamp.

A newly born vampire ordered the other baby vampires and they all nodded their heads. I was ready to fight them but I was worried about my grandfather. I did not want to lose him like I had lost my parents. Ma and pa were my parents but I had a hole inside my heart and that belonged to my biological parents.

As they were about lunged themselves at me all together, we all heard an ear piercing howl. I looked up and smirked mischievously. I saw Vixen standing in front of me. She had the head of a dead vampire in her jaws. She came running towards me and spitted the head in front of all the vampires. They all looked at vixen with their eyes widened and their jaws on the floor.

A newborn vampire: You killed him. You will pay for it, creature. I will bring the hell down on you.

He roared at Vixen and ordered one of the vampires on his left to attack Vixen. I was about to move, to kill him first until I heard Ocean inside my heart.

Ocean: No, Moon. Let me teach him a lesson. He belongs to Vixen.

I chuckled hearing my strawberry sweet Ocean talking about killing a vampire. I wrapped my arms above my chest. That vampire reached to Vixen but with a single swing of her paw, she separated his head from his body. I was kinda impressed with her actions. She was wild and it made me feel proud. That my mate was more brave than me.

After killing that vampire, she howled again. This time louder than the last time.

A newborn vampire: What are you all waiting for? Kill her and the old man.

He roared at his vampires and they all nodded their heads. We then heard another howl. It was not Vixen's howl. I looked at the gates of the mansion and found Zeus in his wolf form. Vivian was standing behind him. He howled again and Vivian and Ocean bowed their heads in front of him, showing respect for their Alpha. Zeus came to me and stood beside me. He held his paw up for me and I bumped my fist with his paw.

Just as we were about to attack them, Vixen howled again and in a few minutes all vampires were lying dead on the ground. Both me and Zeus were looking at her with our mouths agape and wide eyes. She turned towards us and we both saw a mischievous grin on her face. I chuckled and in a moment I was beside her. I grabbed her face and kissed her in her wolf form.

She replied and I rolled my eyes. Ocean looked at Zeus and nodded her head. But I was still in shock. Vivian was standing in front of me but it was like I was looking at Ocean. She was young. She looked even younger than Ocean.

Moon: What did he do to you? You look like, you are Ocean's twin sister, or her younger sister.

I said in a shocked tone and Ocean giggled hearing my shocked question. She came to me and pecked my cheek.

Vivian: The war has started, Moon. And none of us knows how to kill that evil vampire.

Vivian said in a sad tone and Ocean hugged my arm tightly. As if she was afraid of losing me.

Derek: Who said no one knows how to defeat him, Viv. I know someone who can help us. But only Zeus can go to her and ask her the only way to kill that bastard.

Pa said from behind and we all turned to look at them. Ma and pa both came back at the time when we needed them both.
