However, it was bright now, and Zachary noticed something about Molly's clothes. Although they were clean, they were washed out. More accurately speaking, they were old.
"Alright!" He didn't say anything else and just nodded. Then, he sat at the dining table and started eating. When he noticed she was just sitting there, he asked in confusion, "Aren't you eating?"
She blushed a little and said gently, "I'll eat when you're done!"
"Are you treating yourself like a butler?" Feeling slightly amused, he knocked on the table and said with a smile, "Hurry up and eat with me. When you're done, you should get back to your classes."
"Alright!"
When she heard that, she nodded slightly. It seemed like she had let out a breath of relief. She was actually really worried earlier. She was afraid that Zachary might take away her free will and make her stay in the house every day.
Fortunately, he didn't restrict her at all. He even told her to finish her food quickly and go to her classes.
After she was done eating, she hurriedly did the dishes. She even cleaned every part of the kitchen. When she was finished cleaning everything, she didn't see Zachary in the living room anymore.
However, he had left a note on the dining table. There was also a key and a keycard.
She picked up the piece of paper and saw a message on it. "I like food that can stimulate my taste buds. Be sure to come back early after your classes to prepare dinner!"
…
It was a Friday, and the weekends were almost here. Other than Zachary, every employee hoped that time could pass faster.
Zachary spent the whole morning going through the company's clients' information. Then, he went to the CEO's office to see Anya.
Anya was discussing work with Sarah. When she saw him entering the office, she frowned and said angrily, "Can't you see I'm busy? Get out!"
Zachary was stunned for a moment. Then, he hurriedly got out of there and closed the door behind him. At that moment, he felt like a loser.
After waiting for around five minutes, Sarah came out of the office with a long face.
Seeing that he was still waiting outside, she reminded him with good intentions, "Ms. Wayne is in a bad mood today. If you don't have anything important to see her about, you should just stay out of there!"
