If his sister wanted it, he would make it happen.
“Alright, I’ll get it for you,” Sylvan said, his voice soft yet determined.
Emily’s face lit up with a smile. “Really?”
“Yeah.”

Encouraged by his response, she pushed her luck a little further. “Then I want a custom- made dress!”
A custom dress?
Elias, ever the doting brother, nodded with affection. “Sure.”
“I knew it! You really are the best, Elias!” Emily beamed.
Emily reached out and hugged Elias‘ arm tightly. “I love you the most!”
Meanwhile, at the villa…
After her shower, Samantha walked into the bedroom and saw Finley lying on the bed. She climbed in beside him, snuggled up, and wrapped her arms around his waist.
“Finley,” she whispered.
“Hmm? Do you want it?” he teased.
What? No way!
Her face flushed as she averted her eyes. “No! It’s not like that,” she protested, holding him tighter. “I just wanted to talk to you about Dean Corporation’s acquisition of Wallace Corporation.”
“An acquisition?” Finley raised an eyebrow.
Samantha nodded. “Yeah, I’ve thought it through. Since Dale’s been running things, the company’s been rotting from the inside. I’m not even sure how much working capital they have left. And now that I’m starting my own talent agency, I need a lot of upfront capital.”

I’ll feel at ease knowing it’s under your control. It would also mean we’re truly one family.”
Finley chuckled and gently pinched her cheek. “We already are a family.”

Samantha’s thoughts raced. She wondered if Finley had forgotten about getting the license. She gazed up at him, cupping his face in her hands. “Finley, what do you think about acquiring Wallace Corporation? Have you given it any thought?”
“I don’t need to think about it,” Finley replied. “If it’s what you want, I’ll make it happen.”
Her face lit up with a radiant smile. “And once the deal’s done and we’re officially one family, how about we go get that marriage license? I mean, we’re already sharing a bed, but we’re still not legally married.”
She hesitated, then added, “I know it doesn’t change anything between us–you’re already my husband in my heart–but having that piece of paper would give me security. And I want to be on the same household register as you.”
Finley’s gaze softened as he looked at her deeply. After a pause, he nodded. “Alright. Once things settle down, we’ll get our marriage license.”
“Really?” Samantha asked, her eyes sparkling.
“Yeah, really.”
Overjoyed, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the lips. “I knew you were the best, Finley! Let’s get some sleep.”
Finley gently stroked her hair, pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, and held her close as they drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
