Chapter 162 The Eternal Bridal Shop
Freya’s brow furrowed slightly as she grasped Sawyer’s implication. He was suggesting she infiltrate Nathaniel’s office to pilfer something.
However, that place was a sight she could never bear to behold directly.
Each time she visited Nathaniel’s office and gazed upon the newly installed floor–to–ceiling windows, Freya could envision her father leaping from that height, his body plummeting into a grotesque heap.
A chill gradually crept over her body, and her fingers trembled slightly as they clutched the phone.
Sawyer sent another message.
“Nathaniel is a formidable adversary. If you’re apprehensive, we can abandon our plan.”
“No need!” Freya responded hastily.
She drew a deep breath and gazed at the stars outside. The plan proceeds!”
Freya’s sleep was restless that night, plagued by relentless nightmares. One moment, her father stood before her, his face smeared with blood; the next, it was her younger brother, his fate uncertain, and her unborn child, a charming little girl with pigtails.
Freya awoke abruptly, checked her phone, and discovered it was only half past five in the morning.
During her time in prison, she had grown accustomed to early bedtimes and early risings. Her internal clock never failed to rouse her around this time.
Freya retreated to the study, fetched her drawing board, and sketched for a while until tranquility returned.
After breakfast, Abigail dispatched a driver to collect her. Freya declined the ride offered by Abigail, instead requesting Taylor to escort her to the bridal shop designated by Abigail.
Now, living off the Morgan family’s generosity and earning her keep from the Morgan Technologent Group, she was at the mercy of Nathaniel and his fiancée Abigail, much like a docile dog.
Upon Freya’s arrival at the Eternal Bridal Shop, Saeville’s premier bridal boutique, Abigail was yet to
arrive.
The Eternal Bridal Shop had closed its doors to other customers for the day, reserving its services. exclusively for Abigail.
The impending visit of Mr. Morgan’s fiancée to select her wedding gown was a significant event, warranting meticulous preparations, including arranging for staff to greet the guests at the entrance.
Unexpectedly, it was Freya who received the welcome intended for Abigail.
The Eternal employees were taken aback at the sight of Freya.

chain of unfortunate events.
Many sighed, noting that while Mr. Morgan remained the same, his fiancée had changed.
Freya was aware that Abigail’s choice was deliberate, The Eternal was no longer the sole high–end. bridal shop, with numerous luxury bridal boutiques springing up in recent years.
Some of these newer establishments boasted a wider range of styles than traditional stores like the Eternal, offering more innovative designs.
Yet, Abigail disregarded all other options, choosing this store specifically.
It was a clear declaration to Freya: everything you once possessed now belongs to me.
