Nathaniel nuzzled her cheek with his lips, and his desire was gone. All he was left with was bitterness. “I’m joking with you. Why are you so serious?” He smiled and got back to his seat, and he buckled up and drove away from the Technologent Group. 

To her surprise, they were not going back to the villa. They went to the East Saeville Nursing Home to pay her mother a visit. He even purposely prepared a bouquet of carnations for her mother, although she had not recovered yet. 

They were at the ward entrance, and Nathaniel sneaked in with the flowers when Freya was about to close the door. Her face darkened, and she hurriedly stood in between him and her mother. She 

glared at him and all he could do was smile bitterly and put the flowers into the vase. 

Linda used to like flowers a lot, and she even went to learn flower arrangement. She was getting famous in this field. Freya prepared a vase in her mother’s ward, and she always ordered flower deliveries a few times to the ward. The nurse would help arrange the flowers and put them on the bedside table.She was hoping that when her mother woke up someday, the first thing she saw would be these colorful flowers with a nice smell. 

After putting the flower bouquet into the vase, Nathaniel did not get close to Linda. He only stood. at a distance to glance at her with his hands in his pockets. Even though this was a little gesture, this was the first time he took the initiative to visit the Gomezs. And she was the wife of Killian, which meant something different to him. 

After Freya was done, Nathaniel brought her to Peyton’s cafe. Surprisingly, Peyton’s business blossomed. She even rented another shop to open another branch. Everyone turned their attention to Nathaniel when he entered the shop. None of the people would have thought that they would be able to see the famous Nathaniel from such a close distance. Many of them snapped a shot to post online. The atmosphere was lively and Nathaniel even talked to Peyton. But their conversation did not go well, and it was a little bit awkward. 

It was the evening after the two of them visited those places. Nathaniel then brought her to a far- away, high–end private restaurant. The night fell, and he brought her to the private beach by the Ocean villa. They were sitting at the beach, looking at the night sky full of stars. Things were going pretty well for them, and the stars were shining beautifully at them. He was holding her tight, and he muttered, “Do you remember the night where you got pregnant? It was right here.” 

She was starting to feel nervous, but Nathaniel did not want to let her go. His forehead touched hers, and he said, “Frey, let’s have another child together.” 

He caressed her slender shoulders. She still did not gain much weight after staying in the Newport villa for a while. He was hoping that Ms. Lovett’s delicious cooking could increase her appetite. However, her health had declined drastically in the past three years. It would not be easy to recover from it in such a short time. 

He mumbled, “Frey, let’s start over.
