She saw Nathaniel’s room and realized that it was not a European style pub. Instead, it had pictures that showed more South–east Asian cultures. So, she realized that Nathaniel had gone to South–east Asia. His step–father was a huge business tycoon there and since he had no heir, he decided to adopt Nathaniel and gave him everything. However, after going through the USB stick Sawyer gave her, she knew that his step–father’s business was not legitimate at all. So, this meant that Nathaniel earned his first fortune from some underhanded means. 

So, she recalled how loving Nathaniel looked earlier. It almost seemed like he was a parent who had just gone for a business trip abroad and had promised his child that he would bring home snacks and tots. Freya was overwhelmed with complex emotions as she switched off the lights, rubbed her face and exited the study. 

However, as soon as she arrived at the living room, she was 

been waiting for her for a good long while and was upset aceted with a grumpy Taylor. He had 

the wait. However, Freya ignored him as she picked up her bag and left while Taylor chased behind her. He said, “Are you going to the Newport Villa, or would you return to the Ocean Villa?” 

“The Ocean Villa,” said Freya without looking back. This stunned Taylor as he felt that Freya had been spoiled by Nathaniel. 

Apparently, Freya dared not return to the Newport Villa since she knew how cunning Nathaniel was. Moreover, Ms. Lovett and Higgins had already moved into the Ocean Villa. If she were to move a 

to Newport Villa, she would make the elderly couple travel again. As much as she resented Nathaniel, she could not bring herself to hurt the couple. In all honesty, they were nice to her, and did their best to care for her. She had to return the favor by being kind to them. She still had a moral compass after all. 

So, Taylor drove Freya back to the Ocean Villa and moved into the bodyguard’s room. There were others in there, and they were all on the night shift. When Ms. Lovett saw Freya, she greeted her with a huge smile, and prepared dinner for Freya. She asked, “What would you like to eat tonight, Ms. Freya?” 

Since Freya usually had simple meals or none at all, Ms. Lovette had made her some soup with some simple sides. “I feel like eating some dumplings, Ms. Lovette. Fresh ones if possible.” 

This stunned Ms. Lovette as she knew how troublesome it was to make them. If she had known that Freya wanted to eat some, she would have prepared them two hours ago. Freya disliked frozen dumplings, and they did not have any stored in the fridge either. She smiled and said. “Alright. I’ll prepare them right away. But it won’t be ready anytime soon. If you’re hungry. I made some soup, you can have some first. It’s a good thing that we have some lobster and fresh fish, scallops and others. Mr. Nathaniel had bought all kinds of ingredients.” 

However, Freya went upstairs and took out the book. She was unable to find a spot to store stuff. So, she kept it in her bag again and called Peyton. However, Peyton was busy at the moment, and only called her back after a brief moment.
