There was no way Freya still had any mood left to jog. So, she returned to the villa, and left for her office after a meal. She decided that she needed to get into Nathanial’s computer that day, so she had to come up with a plan. If she had no choice, she could always splash water onto the computer, and get someone to come fix it. She could spend some money to get a copy of the data. As Freya’s mind wandered off, she realized that she was being a little unrealistic after Jacob dropped by to visit her. Suddenly, Taylor glanced at her through the rear-view mirror and decided to speak his mind. “Ms. Freya, I know you were wronged by Mr. Nathanial. But you know exactly the kind of person he is. If he really wants to destroy you, it won’t be how you are doing now.”

Freya frowned and chuckled as she asked, “What are you trying to say?”

Taylor replied, “He loves you.” Taylor’s expression changed as he stared at the falling leaves outside, being carried by the win. It seemed that Freya’s life was exactly like the falling leaves. Taylor did not continue as he knew that he would be caught up in the collateral damage as they tried to settle their feud. Although Freya was living with Nathaniel then, Taylor could not help but get the feeling that something serious was about to happen.

After they arrived at the office, Freya tried to come up with an excuse to enter Nathaniel’s office. However, this time, Taylor followed behind her. This annoyed Freya as she asked, “What is the meaning of this, Taylor? I need to communicate with the finance team now, and need to look for Nathaniel’s report. How long are you planning to stare at me for?”

However, Taylor did not move an inch as he just stood there like a mountain. This annoyed Freya, so she video called Nathaniel. After a good long while, the call finally connected. However, she was stunned as soon as she looked at her screen. He seemed to be in a meeting, but it looked tense, and most of the attendees were grumpy looking middle-aged men. These were men his step father left behind. Ever since his step father gave him his business, there was no way this group of old men would be willing to accept him. Nathaniel actually wanted them to switch to a legitimate business model in South-east Asia. However, it came with the downside where their profits would decrease significantly. What Natheniel did was similar to skinning them alive as the whole scene felt tense at the moment.

However, the tension was broken when Nathaniel received a video call. The only person who could disturb Nathaniel then must be a powerhouse, as the elders forgot about their fight and turned their focus to Nathaniel. Nathaniel looked menacing and as soon as he answered the call, his expression softened as he said, “Hey Freya.” This stunned the others as they could not believe that Nathaniel would have a romantic side as well.

Freya was also stunned by this as she arrived early in the office and assumed that Nathaniel should be done with his work out and had some time to deal with his personal issues. But she never expected him to be in a meeting, a serious one at that. Freya felt bad calling him as she pointed at Taylor and said, “Mr. Nathaniel, the driver you assigned for me has already bothered my work.”
