Lucas didn't care in the slightest.

Evelyn calmly looked away as well. They were so calm, it was as if they were strangers.

"Blake, what's going on here?"

When Jessica approached with her dress lifted slightly, she stared at Blake holding Evelyn's wrist, surprised. There was a hint of curiosity in her eyes.

He immediately released his grip. "Why didn't you tell me in advance? I could've picked you up."

Only then did Jessica smile and walk over to wrap her arms around Blake's waist. Leaning into his embrace, she said bashfully, "I didn't want to tire you out. You were already clinging to me half the night…"

Evelyn lowered her eyes mildly, listening to this blatant show of possession without any reaction. It had nothing to do with her.

Jessica, however, turned to Evelyn with a smile and asked, "Can you stay a little longer tonight? There's a big scene coming, and we need you here."

Evelyn looked at her calmly. "What is it?"

Jessica blinked. "You'll find out later tonight."

She clearly wanted to leave it as a surprise. Then, acting coy, she tugged on Blake and led him in another direction. "My dad just arrived. Come say hi."

Blake wrapped his arm around her waist and didn't object. Even so, he glanced at Evelyn with an unreadable expression before he left.

Evelyn ignored it.

When Justine returned, she shook her head. "I didn't learn anything. Fergus is way too mysterious."

Evelyn glanced around and didn't dwell on it. "Let's go take our seats in the auction area."

Their table was in the second row. As for the front row…

Evelyn looked up.

As expected, Lucas and Tiffany were seated in the center of the first row.

Every event had its own hierarchy, but Evelyn didn't care about such things. It was just that from her position, every time she looked up at the stage, Lucas and Tiffany were right in her line of sight.
