Advancing towards the window, she gets down from the window to the balcony. Alexandra glances around, catching sight of the guards standing in their position. She inhales and exhales deeply, she needs to leave quietly so that she won't attract Nathaniel's wrath and he would have to stop her.
Sliding against the wall while trying to hide from the reflection of the moon, she jumps down from the balcony missing a step and falling to the ground. Alexandra stood up, the glee on her face couldn't be contained as she looked over at the mansion she was about to jump. Alexandra could only thank her gene, even without her wolf she could do a lot but she wasn't sure she could face what was coming her way all alone.
But she would never ask Nathaniel for help since he didn't trust her and argued with her. A sad smile glued on her face and she attempts to walk back into the house and stay next to Nathaniel.
It would put an end to all of this and she would never have to face Olivia and Adam ever again, she would just be by Nathaniel's side as his mate and Luna. That was her dream as well but it wasn't worth letting her mother's clan die at the hands of Olivia and Adams.
Without a doubt, Alexandra was sure, they held them captive to try and lure her out and she would have to rescue them or risk losing them and she didn't want that. She may not have the perfect father but she had the best relations who had her back, they were her only family and she wasn't ready to leave them for the emotions in her heart.
"Goodbye Nathaniel" she turns around and runs towards the fence, aware that there would be guards by the gate. Reaching the long fence, Alexandra glances at the mansion for a second time and then jumps over, dashing into the road. She glances around, lost about which way to take.
"Talk about bad luck" she halts, glancing right and left trying to figure out what to do next.
Going back to Nathaniel's house was out of the box but running around in town was not what she signed up for. She would only be losing her strength while lowering her chances of saving her family.
Not thinking it through, Alexandra decides to trust her instincts, she may not be able to wolf out but she was still a werewolf and so she couldn't get lost that easily except blindfolded.
Running through the lonely dark road, sweat covers Alexandra's forehead. She never imagined running a marathon in her life but Adam and Olivia had a way of making her do things she wished not to do.
"Nathaniel" she whispers as she sees a familiar park and hurries towards there, exhausted from having to run in circles.
Plopping down on a swing, Alexandra imagines Nathaniel sitting next to her while they worked over an escape plan for her relations. Closing her eyes, she could only let the memories sail her through for a moment but when she opened her eyes reality struck her hard that she was all alone in the dark with no clue where she was heading to.
There was no one walking on the streets who could tell her how to leave his pack, facepalming her head, Alexandra wished she had taken him up on his offer a long time ago then maybe she wouldn't be in this dilemma.
Looking beside her, Alexandra jumps, seeing Nathaniel sitting on the other swing smiling down at her, without having to ask., She could tell it was just his imagination.
"Hi"
"Should I be glad or feel worse?"
"You wanted me here"
"Not exactly you"
"I get it"
"Nathaniel doesn't trust me" she smiles at the memories as it invades her mind but the smile doesn't reach her eyes.
"Give it time"
"I don't have time"
"Why is that?"
"I'm going on a suicide mission"
