The Rebirth of the Betrayed Alpha novel Chapter 139

Hearing those words Alexandra felt her heart skip a bit. She wasn't scared anymore like she was the other day he had declared she was his. This time it was different, she felt whole and safe, maybe it was because she was just his imagination or the mate bond thing. Nathaniel didn't know for sure but he was sure about was that he wanted her and wasn't going to wait any longer.

He was going to shout out how he feels to her and hope that Alexandra would choose him this time and not Adam Hawthorn, who he had considered his biggest rival.

"You will tell her this right?"

"Yes I want to"

"You should do that Nathaniel, I will be very happy"

"You are just in my mind but Alexandra isn't. She's mad at me" His face saddened

"You should get her back"

"I would love to go to her"

"Then go, what's stopping you?"

"I hate myself, I'm mad at myself for not trusting her" Tears crowd his eyes as memories of the past flood his mind.

He couldn't still believe he had said those words to Alexandra and almost lost his cool. He stared at his hand, disgusted at himself for lifting nds to hit her.

"What's wrong?"

"I almost hit you" He whispers causing her eyes to widen.

"Wow!" She states and for a moment lost for words.

"I raises my hands and I almost hit her, I tried to. No, I wanted to hit her" Tears drop on his cheeks but he quickly wipes them off.

"Alexandra doesn't hate you"

"That's not true, you should have seen the look in her eyes" He chuckled softly moving toward the bed, attempting to sit down when the memory engulfs him once more and he remembers how he pushes her against the bed while trying to hit her.

"It was here"

"What was?". She asked unsure

"l pushed her against the bed and tried to hit her, I was really mad at her" He admits

"Alexandra would never forgive me for not trusting her"

"Don't jump to conclusions"

He snapped. "I know her! She hates me, Alexandra is pissed off at me"

"You can change that"

"How?"

"You know what to do Nathaniel"

Without a doubt, Nathaniel knew what to do but he wasn't sure Alexandra would be glad to see him, he hurt her when he choose to trust Adam and doubt her words.

"Alexandra has never doubted me, she may have but she always trusts me but I did the reverse and for that, I will have to make up for it"

"Don't sit in here and stare at the moon, if you want her then go to her and don't hesitate"

Staring into her eyes, Nathaniel had things running through his mind, he knew what he wanted yet he couldn't bring himself to do it.

"Is time for you to go" he states and she smiles.
