Christopher was stunned. “It’s…” Christopher hesitated for a moment. Even though it was not exactly by the book, it was not impossible. To him, it seemed kind of crazy that it was so simple to have Catherine as his girlfriend. 

“ML Green, are e you serious?” asked Christopher, 

“What! You can’t even handle something this simple and still want to pursue me? Daisy wasn’t planning on explaining further to Christopher. She raised her chin slightly and said, “If you don’t want to, then forget it.” Then she turned around, ready to leave. 

“Wait” Christopher said. 

Daly curled her lips slightly, looking at Christopher with a gentle smile. She said, “Send me a copy of your class list.” After saying that, she flipped her hair slightly and said. “Aren’t you coming along? Let’s grab some coffee and chat about your class,” 

Christopher was excited but also a bit unsure of himself. Nevertheless, he followed Daisy 

Everyone in the classroom was whispering 

“Is the counselor so thrilled because Ms. Green noticed him“” one of the students said. 

“With Ms. Green’s looks, the counselor’s chances are slim” another student said. 

“Generally, female teachers don’t marry male teachers, you know?” one said. 

“Instead of worrying about the teachers‘ issues, you should be more concerned about your own future” someone said.. 

When the teacher arrived, everyone went silent. 

Madeline also looked away, stopping the gossip 

During the class, the back door was pushed open, and someone sneaked into the classroom. 

Madeline felt a tug at her hair, and when she turned, there was a drink right in front of her 

“Gavin Madeline blinked at the handsome face behind the drink. “You’re out?” 

“Tsk.” Gavin lightly tapped her forehead and complained, “Studying is more painful than being in jail. Once you go to the base, it’s all closed management, so annoying. Maybe I should just drop out of school” 

“Would your advisor even agree to that? You’ve secured a spot in grad school and you’re a promising researcher, Madeline said. She took the drink and smiled at Cavin. “You should focus more on your research and stop thinking about quitting” said Madeline. 

She thought it would be better if Gavin could completely clear his name and break away from Phantom Organization. Whenever her brothers went on missions, the always worried about their safery. 

“Research? That’s not why I’m here,” Gavin said. He leaned on his hand, his eyes fixed on Madeline. “I came because I wanted to be with Maddie every day. Who knows.” Gavin didn’t finish his words. 

He had just finished a task for Phantom Organization and smoothly transitioned into the school’s research lab. Every day, his advisor practically recruited him for projects. 

“It is miserable. Outside, I could earn a lot of money with just one job, but here I’m simply unpaid labor. Thinking about it, Gavin felt even more sorry for himself. But fortunately, it’s not all bad. 

“Madeline, have you thought about going to grad school? I have a guaranteed admission for grad school. A professor in Japrium said that if I was willing to attend their school for graduate studies, they could let me bring… bring someone. Gavin said. 

Gavin published several papers in just one academic year. To professors and universities, someone like him was a rare gem. They go to great lengths to attract talents like him. They even offer the chance to bring a partner along. 

“Is such a great opportunity really available? Madeline thought about it. She liked studying and had considered furthering her education,

Gavin slept for over an hour, and his arms and legs were tingling with numbness.

“Of course, I’m going with you.” Gavin said as he stood up, holding Madeline’s hand. “I’ve heard many people have been after you lately. If I don’t show up, others might think they have a chance,” said Gavin. 

As he spoke, he lazily leaned against Madeline like he had no bones. Madeline was visibly annoyed.
