Madeline didn’t have time to read the script until the evening.

Harley smiled gently and put the basket of fruit on the table. “We will be worried if we leave you alone in Acocester. 

“We only have one younger sister. You’re the youngest in the family. It’s not safe for you if you’re here all by yourself 

“Everything is taken care of in Japrium. You’ll be living in a villa, which is much better than this apartment” 

Harley no longer looked lost or sad. Now wearing a decent suit, he smiled calmly and gently. 

Returning to Japrium was definitely a great thing for him. 

Madeline said, “No need 

“I’m doing just fine here. 

“Being away from all of you. I might even live a few more years.” 

Madeline picked up the glass of water and put the script on the table. Don’t try to persuade me anymore. I’m not going to Japrium with you. 

“And let me remind you again, I’m not part of the Larson family anymore” 

Harley sighed softly, took a deep breath, and rested his hand on his knee. “Is there really no room for negotiation? 

“Once we leave, we might never go back to Acocester. 

“Are you sure this is what you want?” 

“Or what?” Madeline chuckled, resting her chin on her hand and squinting at Harley, “Do you really think you’re going to help me after moving to Japrium for a better life? 

If I need to go to Japrium, I can do it anytime without your help 

While they were talking, a man wrapped in a towel walked out of the bathroom.
