Chapter 60 

Madeline redressed and refreshed her makeup. 

She sat in front of the mirror, letting the others handle the details for her.

“I remember when you were leaving, all crying and saying that you wanted to live a brighter life.” 

He sighed. “Well, it seems that a brighter life didn’t make you happy after all.”
