Chapter 1520 Living Together

Ian lowered his hat a little more before he suddenly thought of something, so he turned around and warned Cindy. “You need to be more careful with Gary, so that the media doesn’t pick up on any gossip. I’m fine with you using me to flatter yourself as long as you don’t get me into trouble.”

She pouted her lips. “Even if I want to stir up any gossip about him and me, I still don’t think it’ll work. A lot of girls have tried to cling onto Gary for many years, which makes me think I won’t be the one to succeed. Don’t think too much about it. Why do you always expect me to cuckold you?”

After he glared at her, she quickly smiled and answered, “I’m just joking with you. Even if he and I are dating, it still doesn’t count as cuckolding you. As long as everyone else doesn’t know about our relationship, no one can tell us otherwise.”

Upon listening to her words, Ian sneered, “I’ve realized that you are quite bold with your actions lately. Back then, you used to be shy in front of me. Why the sudden change?”

“Shy?” Cindy was surprised for a moment before she explained, “Actually, I didn’t know you that well then, so I was just being polite.”

“Do you know me well now then?” There was a hint of joy in his voice.

Therefore, Cindy followed his humorous tone and replied, “We’ve already lived with each other before. Of course I know you well now.”

The moment her words came out, she immediately noticed that she might have said something wrong, as if there was another layer of meaning hidden beneath.
















However, since she had already said those words, there was no taking it back.

In the end, she pretended to be calm and added, “Since the two of us have lived in the house for so long, it means that our personality isn’t compatible if we still don’t know each other well.”

Ian nodded pretentiously. “Hmm, that makes sense.”

In the meantime, Cindy tried her best not to blush, so she looked at Aurora and Naomi, who were both in front of her.

As Aurora and Naomi were acquainted with each other, they were now chatting about something and giggling from time to time.

Then, Ian asked a while later, “When is your friend leaving? If she is staying here for a long period of time, I can add a few more days to your holiday.”

Cindy never actually asked Naomi when Naomi was leaving, so she thought about it and answered, “I don’t think I have to accompany her all the time. Since you don’t have much work lately, I can go and look for her after you are done with your film shoot. Besides, she also has work during the day, so there shouldn’t be any conflict.”

“That’s very thoughtful of you.” He chuckled.

She grunted before she suddenly changed the topic and asked, “Why are you so understanding of me all of a sudden? You weren’t like this before at all.”

“Me being understanding? Am I?” As Ian blinked his eyes and thought about it, he realized that he actually might be understanding, so he explained, “I mainly just want to leave a good impression on your friend. After all, our actual relationship is different from the one we told everyone.”





















Cindy pursed her lips and nodded, agreeing with his explanation.

Moments later, the four of them arrived at the front of a beverage store.

Naomi said a few words to Aurora before she yanked Aurora inside.

Cindy was about to follow them when she was startled to see a motionless Ian standing by the roadside. “Let’s go.”

He lowered his hat. “I don’t want to go in.”

After looking inside the beverage store, she found out that there were many girls inside. It’s understandable if he doesn’t want to go in. If someone recognizes him, things will be tricky.

Therefore, she turned around to stand next to him.

As he looked at the passing cars, Ian remained silent for a moment before asking, “If you are rich, what do you want to do the most?”

Cindy had numerous dreams before about her suddenly becoming wealthy and because of that, she more or less planned her future if it were to become reality one day.

After a long sigh, she responded with longing, “When I don’t need to worry about money anymore, I will enroll into my major again. Back then, I was under a lot of pressure to study this major. I’ll be ashamed if I can’t continue it.”
