Then, Ian inquired about Lola’s pregnancy.
Logan, who had been through a lot, answered, “The bad period is now over. At least she’s able to eat and sleep well.”
Ian grunted. “You are almost a dad. Time does fly by quickly.”
“You don’t say.” Logan let out a sigh. “Sometimes, it feels like a dream to me. It seems like just yesterday when we were singing and getting drunk on the underground streets. Now, I’m married and becoming a dad. Time doesn’t wait for anyone.” After that, he sighed again. “Do you know what’s going on with the Morgan Family?”
For a moment, Ian was startled as he never had any connection to the Morgan Family and didn’t pay any attention to them either, so he was upfront when he replied that he didn’t know anything.
Logan wasn’t as agitated as he used to be when the Morgan Family was brought up whereas his tone was slightly emotional. “Bryce is now in the hospital. Even though they said that it’s nothing, he has been staying there for almost a week now. With so many worries at home, I believe that he can’t hold on any much longer.”
“That is quite tragic,” Ian replied. “It must be hard for him to stay in the hospital for several days at such an old age.”
However, he wasn’t concerned about the man in question at all as he felt nothing special.
He hadn’t spent much time with Bryce before. When Ian was a young kid, Bryce was always busy with his work, so he never paid much attention to Ian. Once he became independent, Ian moved out of the house and began to be self-reliant.
Now that he thought about it, he realized that the only memories he had of interacting with Bryce wasn’t that pleasant either.
That was why he didn’t feel sad about Bryce’s accident.
Then, Logan added, “I heard that only Leah is staying beside him. None of those useless children of his has even visited him.”
Ian didn’t know what else to say. Bryce always loved his three kids—Sean, Simon and Sally.
Sean was the son whom Bryce was most satisfied with because he was talented enough to help Bryce take over the company.
Simon and Sally also had Leah’s support and her feeding good words about them, so Bryce was also naturally fond of them too.
Logically, since he had been hospitalized for several days, his three children should have at least visited him.
However, Ian was surprised to learn that they were shameless enough not to take care of Bryce.
At this point, Logan felt that the atmosphere was taking a turn, so he sighed and said, “Forget it, I initially called to talk about something happy, so I don’t know why I’m telling you this. It’s getting late, so I’ll stop bothering you. You should rest earlier. It’s also time for me to bring my wife to sleep too.”
Ian smiled. “Alright. Have a good night’s sleep.”
After hanging up the phone, he lay in bed, but he couldn’t sleep as his heart was a little confused.
On the other hand, Cindy was also unable to fall asleep.
She continued to toss and turn on the bed not because her foot was aching, but rather because she had many thoughts in her head. No one has taken care of me like that before. I can’t handle how serious and gentle Ian looked earlier.
Sometimes, it would only take a moment to move someone’s heart. Now, whenever she closed her eyes, the image of Ian applying the ointment on her foot would come up in her mind. I can’t believe an indifferent person like him would squat on the floor to help me apply the ointment.
Cindy knew where the pharmacy was; after seeing Ian leaving and returning in such quick succession, she knew that he ran all the way there and back. She also noticed that he panted slightly when he returned.
All these tiny details were now surfacing in her mind, which caused her heart to race.
She had never been in love with someone before, but she knew what this feeling was.
However, she believed that her current heartbeat didn’t equate to falling in love with someone.
Maybe I’m just starting to become fond of him. I was only moved because he treated me very well. There isn’t much interaction and understanding between the two of us yet, so I don’t think that this means he is my only one.
However, even the feeling of fondness itself was already making Cindy panic.
The two of us are totally different people. I don’t dare to imagine how this is going to progress.

So what happens to Ian and Cindy. Is she/ or does she get pregnant? Do they go back to the city and Ian works with Logan? Does Aurora stay in the entertainment industry or return with Ian? Terrible ending, who cares if Aurora was drinking/drunk with colleagues. What happened with Ian and Cindy?!...
Get rid of Gary. Apparently Cindy is too dumb to figure out his motives 😡...
Why are you trying to break them up when they just got together and are a loving couple. Let them stay close and move back to their true friends, Logan, Lola, John and Sophia!...
Sure hope Ian pulls his head out of his behind and works this out with Cindy. His brother needs him at the company and neither one of them truly like the celebrity life. Sophia and Lola will love her …....
I can’t wait for John to take down the Bailey’s including Isabelle so he, Sophia, William and Matilda can live in peace. Introduce Yolanda to Richard so they are out of the picture....
Ugh, don’t break up Sophia and John… they belong together and Sophia is just stubborn for no reason...
Sophia lives John, he just needs to tell her he loves her and get on with their life and family. Too much interference from others....
Sophia is so stupid....
John needs to man up, tell his mother and Isabelle to take a flying leap and confess to Sophia that he made a horrible mistake in divorcing her. This story is taking too long and once again, the bitches are looking like they are on the right side. Awful...
