“Okay. Just let me know what his room number is. You don’t have to be around if you’re busy with your work,” Ian said. Sean ended the call after he told Ian the room number. Ian had finished his cigarette just then, so he turned around and flicked the cigarette butt into the bin before walking home.
By then, Aurora and Cindy had already finished their breakfast. Cindy had returned to the room while Aurora sat on the couch. When Aurora saw Ian walking in, she addressed him in a hushed tone. “Why are you only back now? What were you doing outside?”
Ian strode directly toward the dining table. “Nothing much. I gave Sean a call, and he said that we could go to the hospital at noon. I don’t think you’d be interested in the visit, would you?”
Aurora flicked through the television channels as she spoke. “I’m not going to visit him if he’s healthy and well. You can go over and tell me his condition when you’re back. I’ll decide if I want to visit him after that.” She stubbornly desired a chance to show off in front of Bryce.
Ian merely nodded before he sat down and finished the rest of the food on the table. His room door was shut, so he knew Cindy was in the room. They had woken up a little later than usual today, so it was about time for Ian to leave the house once he was done with breakfast. He hastily tidied the table before he hurried over to his room.
When he pushed the door open, he found Cindy standing by the window and looking out. She jumped in surprise, but Ian didn’t bother explaining himself. He merely grabbed himself a change of clothes. However, his footsteps came to a halt right before he stepped out of the room. “Why don’t you come with me?” he said as he turned to look at Cindy.
She took longer than usual to respond to him. “W-What? Where are we going?”
“I’m going to visit Old Mr. Morgan at the hospital,” Ian replied. He didn’t even refer to the old man as his father. Initially, Ian had decided to pay the man a visit without having Cindy come along with him. He figured that he would bring Cindy over the next time if the company needed any materials to come up with articles. However, right before he stepped out of the room, he felt a sudden urge to change his mind.
Cindy was shocked when she found out that Ian was going to visit his father. “Are you going to visit him today?”
“Yeah. Sean called me earlier, and he said that there’s a visiting slot at noon. We should leave now if we’re going to visit,” Ian explained.
Cindy knew what the company would want them to do—they would want her to go along with Ian. Therefore, she was able to make a decision without considering the awkward tension between them. “You can go get changed, and I’ll get changed here. We can go out after that.”
Ian walked out and shut the door to get changed in the washroom. He only had to wait for a while before Cindy walked out of his room in a fresh set of clothes. Aurora could tell what they were about to do when she saw how they were dressed. “Cindy, please help me check if the old man’s well and alive or weak and dying. Tell me his condition when you’re back,” Aurora ordered.
Initially, Cindy had felt rather nervous about visiting Ian’s father at the hospital. However, she cracked a laugh once she heard what Aurora said. “Alright, alright. I’ll record a video of him and show it to you when I’m back.”
“Alright. That’s perfect. You know what? You should start recording from the moment you enter the ward, and you should record the entire visit,” Aurora added.
Cindy responded in a serious manner. “Alright, I got it. Don’t worry!” With that said, she headed out with Ian. Neither of them spoke to the other as they made their way down. It wasn’t just Cindy who was speechless—Ian was also at a loss for words.
When they walked out of their building, Ian twisted his head to glance at the gazebo. Peter was no longer there. That guy’s pretty hilarious. I can’t believe he confessed to Cindy after meeting her and playing badminton with her a few times. How could love be so easy for him?
Cindy didn’t bother to look in the direction of the gazebo, and her eyes were fixed on the ground all the way as she followed Ian to the parking lot. Ian drove them to the hospital. Although they didn’t talk along the way, the atmosphere seemed less awkward than before.

So what happens to Ian and Cindy. Is she/ or does she get pregnant? Do they go back to the city and Ian works with Logan? Does Aurora stay in the entertainment industry or return with Ian? Terrible ending, who cares if Aurora was drinking/drunk with colleagues. What happened with Ian and Cindy?!...
Get rid of Gary. Apparently Cindy is too dumb to figure out his motives 😡...
Why are you trying to break them up when they just got together and are a loving couple. Let them stay close and move back to their true friends, Logan, Lola, John and Sophia!...
Sure hope Ian pulls his head out of his behind and works this out with Cindy. His brother needs him at the company and neither one of them truly like the celebrity life. Sophia and Lola will love her …....
I can’t wait for John to take down the Bailey’s including Isabelle so he, Sophia, William and Matilda can live in peace. Introduce Yolanda to Richard so they are out of the picture....
Ugh, don’t break up Sophia and John… they belong together and Sophia is just stubborn for no reason...
Sophia lives John, he just needs to tell her he loves her and get on with their life and family. Too much interference from others....
Sophia is so stupid....
John needs to man up, tell his mother and Isabelle to take a flying leap and confess to Sophia that he made a horrible mistake in divorcing her. This story is taking too long and once again, the bitches are looking like they are on the right side. Awful...
